Toochie Loc is an American hip hop artist from Beaumont Texas and is founding member of The Set Boys and owner of Set Records,Set Boy Publishing,and Set Boy Clothing. He is regarded as a true MC and is known for his sharp flow,freestyling abilities,and habit of being raw and truthful. He is very respected in the Texas hip hop community and admired for his ability to accomplish as an independent what is usually only accomplished by major label artists and accredits UGK and Geto Boys as his biggest musical influences.
Originally from the ruthless South Side of Baton Rouge Louisiana,Toochie Loc is no stranger to violence,crime,drug dealing,and typical ghetto life. He participated in this lifestyle like many youth across the country and visits the subjects here and there throughout his musical creations. However,Toochie Loc is not one to glorify the destructive nature and behavior but only gives a first hand account of his experiences,and that includes the good and bad.
