“Moments” is the third official single for Tove Lo’s debut album, Queen of the Clouds, impacting radio on October 6, 2015.
It’s about embracing one’s physical and mental imperfections, as you fall into lust. According to the YouTube audio’s description:
“Here’s ‘Moments’ – this song, like all of them, is very personal to me… Stay flawed babes!“
It is considered to be a part of the album’s “Chapter Two” – The Love, and it was released as a promotional single alongside “Timebomb”. The official video came out October 21.
According to Songfacts, Tove explained in an interview with Billboard magazine:
“I started to use music almost like a therapist, where it’s like, everything that I don’t really dare to say or speak about, I can sing about.“
