Singer and songwriter TrineLise Vaerings 7th album “Lystfisker” is a pop/rock album in her native tongue Danish.
Her unfailing sense of style, and feeling for eloquent nuances in her lyrics and not least the richness of her vocal sound makes Vaering a distinctive and extraordinary voice and a unique song-writer on the Scandinavian jazz and beyond music scene.
Vaering started her musical journey on the Scandinavian Jazzscene with 5 acoustic albums in English with Scandinavian jazzmasters such as Bobo Stenson, Mads Vinding og Alex Riel in her bands. From the album Trespassing, an originally angled fusion of the singer-songwriter tradition and contemporary art-rock, injected with a touch of modern jazz , Væring started to change her musical course.
For her new album Lystfisker, she has written a handful of strong pop/rock songs about a grown-up woman somewhere on the winding roads of love. Lystfisker is released sept. 08.
