It's unfortunate that their worst song is their biggest hit. They had a ton of great songs under their belt, but they seem to be only remembered for I Got A Girl which is not a great representation of this band's sound.

"Sonic Bloom" es una de las canciones más hermosas de los 90. Wes Berggren y Ben Curtis deben estar haciendo buena música en el cielo. QEPD.

I've been looking for an mp3 of Bedhead for a long time but can't find one... if someone here has one, could they send it to me? Thanks.

Funny how the one song I always hated by them happens to be the one that is very much the top played, almost five times as much as the next. "I Got a Girl" is the reason it took me 15 years to come around to listen to them. I never would've expected the same band to have done so many great songs. "Prick" deserves many more plays.

'Jesus...' is the best album of all time. I sincerely mean that. It was the point that Tripping Daisy stopped being a pop-punk, Jane's Addiction-esque band and became something that's never been equalled. The self-titled final album is very good too, but the half-way point of 'Jesus...' is the sound of a band recording at the peak of their everything. There's not an emotion I don't feel when I listen to it, even though the majority of the time it's joy I'm feeling. If you haven't heard it, search for it and buy the damn thing.

I Am An Elastic Firecracker is such a defining album of my early high school years. Just hearing these songs again brings back so many memories! I was fortunate enough to see them open up for a (much more boring) band in 1995 and they completely overshadowed the headliners. Tim arriving on stage in a red housecoat and a blonde wig having so much with the audience and the general exciting vibe of it all. I remember they had these major spotlight features on Much Music and Musique Plus - they had such a loyal following in Quebec and you could see from those TV specials that they were just genuine nice guys who were evidently tickled pink about their fans. Ahhh, Tripping Daisy!

Got myself 'Jesus Hits...' and like it but I'm glad Tim moved on to the Polyphonic Spree. They are a lot better than this.

God, they were so awesome. Like a supernova out of nowhere deep in the heart o' Texas. Several of their tracks were on a constant loop in my head throughout high school; the soundtrack to my teen years. Even now, it's hard to listen to them without getting hit by a tidal wave of memories. RIP Wes Berggren.

Jesus Hits Like the Atom Bomb is by far, the best in the Tripping Daisy catalog. BUY IT.
