Originally hailing from "The Great White North", this electro rock powerhouse is making waves with their cutting edge sound and style. Reminiscent of bands like Nine Inch Nails and Tool, this group creates timeless, relevant and intoxicating heavy music, without pulling any punches. Tired of the lack of innovative and creative music in todays rock scene, the members of Triptaka formed the band in order to create music that they wanted to hear. The assemblage, composed of front man Graeme Cornies, keyboardist James Chapple, and guitarist Dave Kelly, have been producing their brand of industrial rock for just under a decade, sculpting their tracks with methodical precision and presenting intelligent art with commercial appeal. All three are accomplished producers, composers and engineers, with years of experience in all aspects of the music industry. Their diverse musical backgrounds help give Triptaka a varied aural palette, allowing the group to explore sonic territory that most musicians only dream of. The bands manifesto: to create music that is artistic, interesting and engaging, while still remaining commercially viable. So far the response to the band has been great, with over 13,000 downloads from download.com since September 2005, as well as countless web postings from fans, showing that Triptaka has a very strong future ahead of them in the music industry.
