A review from the zine, "John Cooper Clarke: Punk Poet" by, Michelle Riot.
"Trouble in Paradise. I had previewed some tracks from their new album (available from myspace.com/troubleinparadise), and was really looking forward to seeing them live. What an amazing band! I was blown away not only by their talent, but by their ability to stay true to ska roots. Lead singer Monica sounded like a modern-ska version of Pauline Black from the Selecter. The other band members were talented and played the songs to perfection. I felt that, as a whole, the band knew what they were talking about. As Ive said countless times before, I only promote bands I feel are talented and have potential. Trouble in Paradise is another band added to the list! Overall consensus: This is what ska is supposed to sound like!"
