    1998 – present (26 years)

Turulvér was formed in the summer of 1998 by Ádám Kulcsár (guitar) and Gergely Kulcsár (drums) in a little town, Pásztó, Hungary. The initial purpose was the creation of a unique that bears effects of the Hungarian atmosphere, but not by using clichés or usual motifs.

Some time later Balázs Szõllõsi joined the band as a singer, and then in 1999 they found a second guitarist, István Markó. The band started to elaborate the style and some songs were written, but they could not find a bassist in the area so there were no gigs.

In 2000, the majority of the band moved to Budapest. Unfortunately István had to quit since he remained in Pásztó, so the band continued in trio. Being in the heart of the country, they met many musicians and built up long-term relationships. The lacking bassist was soon found when they asked a friend of the band, Richárd Orosz (Screamflood, Masqim Xul, ex-Atropos, ex-Desperation) to join them. He is a guitarist, but was open to try himself as a bassist. This turned to be an excellent move, for a unique style could be elaborated. With this full line-up, serious work could be started, motivating the band.

Since then they were busy working, they participated in some gigs. Recently have recorded the first EP, called Turulvér, which was recorded at Elysion Studio, Békéscsaba in 2003, and was released in June.

In 2005 they made their first album Nap Felől.
Same year, one of their songs Meótisz was published on a mix CD (Voices Of The Styx) of16 Hungarian black/death bands.
