Biography
Twilight Sparkle is a very intelligent purple unicorn who enjoys reading and studying. She has a unique talent for magic, making her the element of magic. Twilight is the prized student of Princess Celestia, who is having her currently study the magic of friendship. Before she moved to Ponyville from Canterlot, Twilight had no friends and had no interest in making any. It was when she needed her friends' help in defeating Nightmare Moon that she realized how important friendship is. She writes letters to the princess frequently discussing something she learned about friendship. However, she is a perfectionist worrywart and is prone to anxiety. Her best friends are Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Applejack. She has a pet owl named Owlowiscious and a baby dragon assistant named Spike whom she used her magic to hatch from a dragon egg as a filly (which made her gain her cutie mark).
