Beacon is the second full length release by Northern Irish group, Two Door Cinema Club. It is a follow-up to Tourist History, which was released in 2010. Beacon was recorded at a studio in L.A. with producer Jacknife Lee, and was made with a "Deeper and more emotional" outlook and intent (Quote lead singer Alex Trimble, NME). The first single off the record was "Sleep Alone", and has been followed by other singles including "Sun", "Next Year", and "Handshake". All of these singles have been accompanied by a music video.
The deluxe edition of Beacon includes a full length live set that was recorded at the O2 Academy, Brixton. It features tracks from both Beacon and Tourist History.
Beacon was released between the dates of 31 August and 4 September 2012, depending on the country.
