“PUPPET” is the second collaboration between Tyler, the Creator and Kanye West, the first being on “SMUCKERS” (which simultaneously featured fellow rapper Lil Wayne) from Tyler, The Creator's 2015 album "Cherry Bomb".
The track discusses the obsessive and protective nature of being in love, and how controlling it can be. Here Tyler/IGOR acknowledges both the positive and negative sides of being under your lover’s thumb. This is thematically represented in the disjointed second half of the song, where music from the start of the song abruptly cuts in.
"PUPPET" has reached some countries' official charts, including a #74 in Australia and a #88 in the United States of America.
