Biography

We're a band what comes from Medway. We done one million gigs. Yep, one million.Only about 500 real gigs though. Got quite a few more coming up. We used to ride around in a knackered old van named Pam. She's was a beautiful old thing. Stank of sweat and petrol. We sleep wherever we find the space, eat whatever we can afford and play any room we can get in to. We have horns to blast your face, bass to rumble your feet, drums to bang your head, guitar to jangle your cockles and vocals that make you wana shout at us.

Here's what people say:

"A punk-band named after a character in an albeit genius advert may seem a little hypocritical. But a few chords into their set and the irony comes gushing through. Armed with politically-raged songs, the band have the tones of Sonic Boom Six and the gargantuan power of Rage Against The Machine. This band are so loud that the connotations with volcanoes and dinosaurs are fitting and the crowd erupts into delirium at the beginning of every song just with no sign of extinction. Mixing between rap songs and anthems, with a ska-undertone, you don’t know whether to mosh or dance. But the sheer energy of songs like Bombard the BBC means that you don’t care, even when the lyrics are being spat out in your face." - The Boiler Rooms

"Tyrannosaurus Alan are every bit the musical beasts you'd expect from a name so prehistoric and imposing. Part ska, part punk, part hip-hop, the band take all the best bits of Reel Big Fish, Dizzee Rascal, Madness, Rage Against The Machine, The Ordinary Boys, The Clash, The Streets, Diablo Swing Orchestra, Gorillaz and The Specials, cannibalising the resulting sound into a Frankenstein's monster of rock… Catch them live. Please, please catch them live. If they're half as good as they sound recorded, you'll be in for a right old riot." - BBC Introducing/ Stephen Morris
