Biography
Vanchy is a multi-talented Electronic/Ambient Musician, Visual Designer and Photographer from San Francisco, California. From an early age Vanchy was an adept electronic music listener, synths collector and computer graphics geek. It was this interest in music and visuals that, in 2000, led him to work in multimedia productions and computer games for several well-known Silicon Valley companies. He was involved in sound design and music scoring for the games, videos and interactive productions that he also visually designed.
It was not until 2008 that he decided to set up his own studio at home and start producing his music, becoming a joyful experimental journey to find his own sound identity. Vanchy loves soft-synths, guitars, real-time granular synthesis, arpeggios and sound design, making them a trademark of his music.
In May 2011 he independently released his first album called "Emotional Allure of Space." Within a month the album reached more than 200,000 internet plays and received a warm, overwhelming reception.
