Vanhelgd (Swedish word for desecrated) is a new wave Old school Death Metal band formed in Mjölby, Sweden in 2007.
They released their debut album Cult of Lazarus in late November 2008.
In the year 2011, they released their second album called Church of Death via Nuclear War Now! Productions.
Since then, they have released three full-length albums on Pulverised Records: Relics Of Sulphur Salvation (2014), Temple of Phobos (2016), and Deimos Sanktuarium (2018).
