Biography
Violent Tumor was a Chicago based punk band that was popular in the mid to late 80's. They were unusual because three of their four members were black. Chicago at that time was very racially conservative. Their 7" EP has become a cult favorite among the under ground punk scene and is coveted by hardcore collectors. Their entire story can be found in the May 2007 issue of Maximum Rock And Roll, Issue number 288.
