Biography

Andrija Vujević (born in Knin on the 19th of January, 1985), better known as Vojko V (short for Vojko Vrućina), is a Croatian hip hop artist. Originally a programmer, he quit his job to become a professional musician as part of Dječaci and Kiša Metaka. One of the lead members of both groups, he wrote and performed his own music. The subject of his writing is often humorous and comments on the society in Croatia, including the modern music scene.
After the success of Dječaci and Kiša Metaka, and their eventual breakup, he shortly retired from music, only to return in early 2018 with several singles (Zovi Čovika, Ne Može, Pasta Italiana) and his first solo album, Vojko. He wrote the music and lyrics and produced the album himself, and in 2019, it won the awards for Croatian album of the year and Croatian dance album of the year. The video for Ne Može also won the best music video of the year award. His success at the Porin awards in 2019 assured his return to the Croatian hip hop scene.
In 2020 and 2021, he released 4 more singles (Obama, Moja Lipa, Umoran, Mamiči) and went back on tour after the Coronavirus quarantine.
He released his sophomore album, Dvojko, on March 1st 2023.
