Death Dealer is the fifth track from Vulture King's debut EP, The Death of Day. Music was written by Patrick Golden; lyrics were written by Danny Frank. This is another song–Redlight being the other–that was written prior to Vulture King being formed. It was written while both Danny and Patrick were members of Hades Landscape, and is representative of the more thrash-oriented influences of that band. It was written in honor of Frank Frazetta's legendary Death Dealer character, with story influences from James Silke's "Prisoner of the Horned Helmet" series of novels, based on the character.
