Truth Becomes is the first track from Vulture King's debut EP, The Death of Day. The music was original written by Daniel McCormick, and then later adapted by the band as a whole. Lyrics were supplied by Danny Frank. The original version of the song was much more sedate, and even included an ill-conceived middle interlude that was deemed "too jazzy" by the general consensus of the band. The bookending basslines and the altered riff for the solo section were the last additions to the song before being recorded in February of 2011.
