Lee Ji-hoon (Korean: 이지훈; born November 22, 1996 in Gwangan-dong, Busan, South Korea), better known by his stage name Woozi (Korean: 우지) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer. He is a member of the K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN and the leader of its vocal team sub-unit.
He studied classical music as a child and learnt to play various instruments such as the clarinet and other band instruments, which piqued his interest and gave him experience in music. He joined Pledis Entertainment through auditions and met Bumzu, with whom he frequently collaborates on music production.
As a trainee, he appeared in music videos for label-mates NU'EST, Hello Venus and Orange Caramel. He also starred in the online program SEVENTEEN TV alongside other SEVENTEEN members.
