True to their name, Warsaw Village Band (in Polish: Kapela Ze Wsi Warszawa) is based out of Warsaw, Poland, and combine traditional Polish folk music with modern sound elements. In juxtaposing traditional instruments - including frame drums, hurdy gurdys, "white voice" style singing and the rarely-heard suka bilgoraiska - and electronica, they create a sound that has been described as "hardcore folk" and "bio-techno."
