Amazing music aside, it's really cool we all got to see the birth of one of the greatest album covers of all time, no hyperbole.

Not often you get an album where both the cover and the music are basically 10/10’s

the moment i begin the first track this peculiar thing happens where i seem to teleport out of bounds and have my mind displaced for exactly 42 minutes and 27 seconds, and after then i suddenly jolt up hyperventilating because i think i just let someone pull my stomach out. but in like a cool romantic way IYKWIM

Honestly, the best pop album of the 2010s imo, the vocals and instrumentation are lush and beautiful, the intricate details that blossom with subsequent relistens, everything is done to perfection, I found this record 2 years ago and it still never ceases to put me at awe with the sonic landscape it constructs for it's run time. Natalie does not get the praise she deserves but I'm sure this record is gonna stand the test of time and going to be remembered as one of the best albums of our generation

this is why midwestern white women who rejected the extreme Christianity of their households but now still had to fill the gap in their soul elsewhere whilst being forced to grow up were invented

It is peculiar, but I did not really get this album at first. I mean - it's fine, there is not an unpleasant tone to find here. But it did not click with me same way Front Row Seat to Earth had. Then her next album dropped, and that one *did* in a very big way. So now, I am going back to revisit this album, and lo and behold - I get it now. It is every bit as amazing as its predecessor and its successor. I don't know how she does it. But it is something I cannot explain away, something at most three or five other musicians I know of have been able to do. And one day I hope to figure out what it is.

Have you listened to her latest masterpiece, yet? It should be literally impossible, but she outdid herself. That's three flawless gems in a row. I'm beginning to think the only explanation is actual magic.
