Almost everyone song sounds the exact same, but I don't mind because it's a good sound.

YES! "Follow Blind", "The Circle" and "Silver Sail" is so underrated. Maybe they better than the classic trilogy (except "Over the Edge" for me)

Wonder why Greg just suddenly became a recluse in 1999? It seems like he completely disappeared.

probably just didn't care for having a public life anymore and decided to settle down with his family, he never wanted to tour in the first place when the band first "formed." modern pic of him here though and it's the only time i've ever seen him smile https://rockandrollglobe.com/post-punk/wipers-living-in-the-land-of-the-lost/

That's a picture of Jack Rabid. The journalist who wrote the piece. Not Greg Sage.

saw that, that part really made me shiver. not sure if anything Mark says is necessarily trustworthy though, honestly. super fucked if it's true though, just really don't know

i'd take it with a grain of salt. considering that they had a falling out it's no surprise he'd spew vitriol on greg

Yep. I'll have to check out more of the Wipers. Check out my library and go through the artists I've listened to. You may find some amazing gems.

@Fly_Boi47, in my universe. However, now I find the Wipers to be good. So they went from average to good. :)

Американское поле экспериментов началось с Sister Ray, но так то в корень зришь. Уверен, что Егорка был отлично знаком с классической трилогией Дворников.

Wow, this band rules. I wish I discovered it sooner, but better late than never.

Yep, Youth of America rules. So does Over the Edge, though. I go back and forth between those two. Both are some of the best music of the 80s or any other time.

Agreed. They have 4 million scrobbles just on this site. Not exactly obscure, or underrated considering they've received almost universal critical acclaim and have been frequently cited as favorites by some of the most respected musicians of the last 30 years. They've achieved the ultimate status as a band. 99.999% of bands will never be so lucky.
