I really wish they would've continued the band and playing instruments. Don't get me wrong I like the synth pop albums, but I just miss the male vocals and sound of a band.

Maybe I should've worded better. On their albums after the debut I wish they continued as a guitar, bass, drums, with some synths band, not mainly synths and drum machines with a touch of guitar, bass, and percussion band. And yes I've seen many performances, they're very good live. I wish they would've put that band on their albums.

That new album is very weird... it will be a tough one I believe. Will try it over... "Pressure" is an instant hit though.

I love Ultramachine but don't like Shapeshifting at all......I can't figure out why?

I really like a few songs from Ultramarine (In Fire, New Summer...) but as a whole, I believe this is YG's weakest record of all. Shapeshifting and Invisible Republic were stronger with no weak track.

I really don't know what it is about Ultramarine...on my first listen I didn't think much of the record. In fact the only song I really enjoyed by this group was We Have Everything, which I discovered while working at my college's radio station a few years ago. I had actually completely forgotten about it until I randomly stumbled upon Young Galaxy on Spotify. However, in the past few weeks I've found myself listening to tracks from Ultramarine, still not knowing whether or not I really enjoy them, but there's definitely something there.

I think the only reason I paid attention to these guys was that Blown Minded had one of the coolest videos I'd ever seen, but it paid off after all. I'm really enjoying Ultramarine.
