I honestly don´t get why people calling this the wrong tag. This is the name they use on Facebook, that´s the name official uploads on Youtube tag them... Sure, they´re from Japan, the official Logo is in japanese but why are some poeple so butthurt about it? I won´t start tagging everything diffrently after 6k+ scrobbles and I think there are alot of people that would say the same.

This is a weeb/otaku elitist thing. Anything except the kanji original spelling is incorrect for them and this includes even artist names when they use the aftername first like how it is common in Japan. Its annoying and you are better off blocking these people. I personally have a westernized music library and everything is in romanji so that it is actually legible for a non Japanese speaker and also causes less unicode problems... Oh yeah and the name order I also adjust so that the first name comes first and then the family name. However, I admit Last.fm is pretty dumb since it often still does not merge kanji/romanji/name order spelling under the same artist page and it should... Its really not difficult but since they do not hire public mods and databank specialists who can do this it will always suck. They already struggle at adding a new feature all few years.

Kougeru -- I don't think it applies to this band, but a lot of users play their music on Spotify or other web-based programs that don't allow you to input your own tags. That's the main reason that I have a few incorrect (still unmerged) artist spellings in my library (which, yes, I hate). Also, it takes a looong time for Last.FM to actually get around to merging pages. In my case right this moment, I'm listening to Last.FM radio itself and it played THIS version of the spelling instead of the correct one. :/

why is this not merging still? "so I already had the case where several of my music programs had problems with Japanese letter" Horrible excuse. Any decent music player on any modern OS (Windows Vista+) will support unicode just fine. Also, you CAN tag as you please...but at LEAST vote for the proper merging to the PROPER Japanese titles. Also most Japanese leave our song titles in English. I think it's more respectful to have the songs in their proper spelling. If you can't understand it, and don't complain about that , then why complain that you can't read it? Just add a tag under "performer" as Yousei Teikoku in romaji for search reasons. I assume you're smart enough to do that but then again you're apparently using some horrible program that can't read unicode so maybe not...

There is already 妖精帝國. http://www.lastfm.com/music/%E5%A6%96%E7%B2%BE%E5%B8%9D%E5%9C%8B And anyway, I always tag my Japanese music in Romanji so my tags will stay with "Yousei Teikoku" Its 50/50 anyway. Some use Romanji, some use the original Japanese letters. Asians probably the original Japanese letters and Europeans, Americans use Romanji. Way to complex using all those Japanese tags and I cant even read them like that. Also I already had the case where several of my music programs had problems with Japanese letters. Nope, sorry guys. Just tag your music as you please. Why are there no tags with "Das Feenreich" anyway? Haha. Just saying.
