Biography
Basmati is the brainchild of musical savant Brandon Graig of Falls Church, Virginia. Basmati started in the musical basements of Graig's fellow high school classmates Louis Henniger, Micheal Guy and The Jiff. Basmati has come along way since the teenage angst filled years of Graig and has unleashed new and more complex song writing techniques. Now operating in RVA with a new member Seaton Kirby filling the shoes of Mike Guy and The Jiff (currently on hiatus) Basmati has transformed their music into a unique and unforgettable sound.
Recently With the recording skills of upcoming local Richmond producer Ethan Gensurowsky (Midair, New Turks) and assistance from band manager Matty Seabass (Young Adult Fiction, Gunboat) Basmati has been becoming one of the most prominent bands in the contemporary Richmond music scene.
