While Demahjiae might seem like an unlikely candidate, the East Oakland native is determined to be one of the next great exports the Bay Area has to offer. The multi-faceted artist acts like a composer on his latest offering, “And, Such Is Life.” Demahjiae gracefully weaves unique samples and airy vocals to create an ecosystem of texture-rich production and wistful raps that is sure to please soon-to-be fans. If that isn't enough to make you a fan, maybe features from the likes of Navy Blue, Pink Siifu, and Zeroh is enough to convince you. You can find his nimble production and emotive raps on his debut full-length project, “And, Such Is Life,” and Ovrkast's “Try Again.”
