first of all, it isn't autotune, and after all, vocoder makes this song even more beautiful.

@Everyone complaining about the autotune: If you just don't like it for the sound it makes in this song, that's fair. But Nate obviously does not need it to sing well. He's only using it here for what he thinks is an extra artistic addition to the song. Personally I love it. The sheer amount of autotune he's using, it's almost like he's mocking it.

Yeah I still have problems with the production on much of this album, but it was spot on here. I don't think I would've wanted it any other way.

autotune is just another tool for making creative and awesome music! Like Bon Iver's 'Woods' or Imogen Heap's 'Hide and Seek' :D

God, the Auto-Tune overkill leaves this song completely unlistenable. It's like a rusty chainsaw shoved in your ear. Why would anybody in their right mind so completely ruin a genuinely nice song?

I really like this song, but whatever he is doing around the 5:25 mark is freaking annoying o.0

"Some nights I rule the world / with bar lights and pretty girls. / But most nights I stay straight / and think about my mom. / Oh God, I miss her so much." STOP TALKING ABOUT THE VOCODER AND INSTEAD TALK ABOUT HOW SAD AND BRILLIANT THE LYRICS ARE!

I never thought I'd say this, but I really like their use of vocoder on this track.
