Spita is an aspiring Independant Island Def Jam Digital Recording Artist, whose musical creations are creating a new musical genre of its own. Brooklyn born (Curtis Alexander May 13, 1986), Spita has manage to combine all of his surroundings to music.

His mixture of all the cultural variety and mind set Brooklyn currently offers is a welcome change in hip hop. During the summer of 09 certain parts of the world has had the opportunity to see him perform few of his songs from his debut mixtape entitled "The Professional Yung Spita".

The second son of parents who are natives of the Caribbean island of Grenada, Spita is known to be very much in touch with his families ancestral roots in the Spice Isle. Constantly visiting there had a heavy influence of the arts in Spita's life but the true love for music slowly crept in over the years.

He started out, like many others, simply writing poetry as a form of venting emotions that he couldnt express otherwise. Then came the casual freestyles in his neighborhood, and in his school. Around the age of thirteen Spita was introduce to a radio DJ named Mad Vibes, who was from Florida, while on vacation in Grenada.

The two men shared a love for their countrys music of Calypso, Dance hall, Reggae and Soca. They became close and when Mad Vibes came to New York he mentored Spita at his radio station until he was eighteen. From the age of eighteen to now Spita has used the time elapsed to discover just what kind of music talent he had, and also finally deciding to pursue it as a career.

The sky is the limit for this Brooklyn artist, this lyrical behemoth. As his hunger grows, so does his talent and creative spirit. The world is yet to be impacted by this genesis in music.
