Biography
Collaboration between Benji Webbe (Skindred, Dub War) and Robert Trujillo (Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves, Metallica).
The group was formed (and disbanded) in 1998 when Benji Webbe's old band, Dub War, disbanded and he was unable to convince their record label (Earache) to let him record a solo hip-hop album. Robert Trujillo was auditioning for a side project at the time and Benji successfully got the part. The lineup was completed by second bassist Armand Sabal-Lecco and drummer Brooks Wackerman.
Other contributors to the album include:
Whitfield Crane, Roy Mayorga, Lynn Strait, Stephen Perkins, Joey Castillo, Danny Carbonel, John Wackerman, Danny Reyes, Joey Klparda and Rick Battson.
The band spawned a studio album called "How To Write Love Songs" and a live album, Live in Tokyo both released in Japan only.
Skindred guitarist Michael Fry (aka Mikeydemus) has hinted in a 2007 interview that the project is still ongoing, yet no plans have come to fruition.
