Biography
Moroza_Knozova is a piano duo of Georgy Stefanov and Elizaveta Dmitrieva.
During their years at the Moscow Conservatory they got familiar not only with piano, but also with Macintosh and Korg. They prefer not to talk about themselves much, but it is known for sure that they often wear "Boards Of Canada" t-shirts, though the duo's musical tastes aren't limited to the sympathies for that band. Whether the guys from Plaid or Autechre should be called the duo's godfathers, or maybe it was Richard James himself, the band refuse the label of mere epigones, developing their authentic starry-dark sound. It is also known about the band's collaboration with the post-rock band "Joga" and with the Russian electro diva Dasha Veliko.
The band's strange name is said to be the name of the evil ghost in the Japanese mythology, who chase little girls of the age from 4 to 7.
