Biography
Pojut is currently working on three projects: The Transient Unknown (spacey ambient), Lost on the Way to the Laundry (experimental chill), and Implied Reality (drone). All of his albums are experiments with various textures and how they can be layered together, creating expansive, sweeping soundscapes. His music is conceived, created, and mixed with headphone users in mind; he uses an Audio Technica ATH-AD700 and a modified Sony MDR-7506 for production and mastering, as well as a Sony MDR-V600 and a pair of Sony MDREX55 for "real world" tweaking.
His primary influences are Plastyc Buddha, Saafi Brothers, Aphex Twin, Future Sound of London, Mana Medicine, Nightmares on Wax, Squarepusher, Solea Amphibia, Redshift, Star of the Lid, Tangerine Dream, the radio show Hearts of Space, and the bluemars.org podcast network.
