The Library of Congress (formerly Seizing Elian) are a band from Glen Rock, New Jersey. While the band has since broken up, the line up consisted of Andrew Cedermark (guitar and lead vocals), Kyle Cedermark (drums), Martin Courtney (bass guitar and vocals), Patrick Stickles (guitar and vocals), Sarim Al-Rawi (guitar), and Matt Miller (keyboards).
Patric Strickles has gone on to play guitar and sing with Titus Andronicus while Martin Courtney is the lead singer and guitarist of Real Estate.
The band released one album together, Selected Writings on the Human Condition in 2005.
