A true Death Metal classic. Musically it's not in the vein of "Deicide", "Legion" or "Once Upon The Cross" of course, yet it still is a milestone in Deicide's discography. Jack Owen & Ralph Santolla (may he rest in peace) did an outstanding job on this one, this album could be easily described as Juicy-Riffs-Land. And the solos... woah, they're another story.

I'm a bit flabbergasted that this album is the #1 album in Deicide's Top Albums section. I would say the self-titled or even Once Upon the Cross would be easily the #1 album. Yeah, it's still superb though.

Better than Scars and In Torment easily. Redemption is the right word to describe this record. Also better than Till Death.

[track artist=Deicide]Black Night[/track] ends and you take a long, deep breath... damn this album still sounds MONSTROUS! Easily their best after the 2 first albums.

Great album, but sometimes these Santolla solos are pissing me off so fucking much. Great that he is not in Deicide anymore. Hoffman brothers were something else. With them, Asheim and Benton that's the true Deicide... too bad that we will never be able to see them in a band together.

One of their finest works to date. And negativzeroe, you might want to check your info, since this was released on August 21st. They did however, release The Stench of Redemption EP in 6.6.06, which included only the songs "Homage for Satan" and "Crucified for the Innocence"
