"occultronics" or "occultronic" is a term coined by Mark C. Jackman in 1993, originally used to describe the experimental ("unknown") processes of sound exploration of his skozey fetisch project. Later used to describe the sound art or experimental noise created by sound/noise artists who also process sound using methods which are not always clear and which are generally new or exploratory approaches to sound production and therefore share the "occultronics" aesthetic.
