Seiyuu group (声優ユニット - aka: better romanised seiyū group, or more lit. seiyuu unit / seiyū unit), is a Japanese marketing tie-in musical group / band, of character actors (lit. voice-over / narration thespians, 声優), promoting an anime / video game brand and/or its merchandising. Seiyū groups usually consist of the main feature's lead seiyū / seiyuu and rarely outlive its active promotional / merchandising campaigns.
