Taking cues from acts such as The Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, and Dick Dale. Lyrically generally vague and focused more on youth or nostalgia, light hearted, and happy. A revival of the feelings and sounds of old surf rock, there has been a resurgence of these types of bands in recent times. All hail Brian Wilson, the sun, ocean waves, and of course, Summertime.
