Hello :) I got your Christmas card!! Actually it arrived on Monday already, so sorry I'm letting you know only now. I think Croatian post was very slow over the past days cause we got no mail between Dec 23rd and Monday and then the mailbox was overflowing on Monday and I had some five cards waiting for me XD Anyway thank you so so much :) It was such a lovely surprise <3 And you have a gorgeous handwriting! I'm wishing you a belated Christmas, and well, since it's the last day of the year, good celebration! Any plans for the evening? :) I'm staying at home, eating cookies and watching Downton Abbey marathon haha XD It's been freezing cold here the last few days, going out for walks with my dog has not been pleasant haha! Otherwise I had a lovely, calm and uneventful Christmas, hope you did too! I hope that you have a nice time whatever you decide to do in the evening, and see you in the new year :) Many hugs!

Hi girl! Sooo, how was The Boxer Rebellion?! :D Awww I so very very nearly went to Budapest!! This is the second time I missed them, I think they played somewhere close (Austria?) last year over a weekend or a national holiday or something, but I was broke. Oh well. Hopefully some other time. If you feel like sharing, I'd like to hear about it! How big was it, how long did they play for, were you front row, did you go alone? Rolling Stone took sooo much money and stress to get there, UGH, but it was sooo totally worth it ♥ I'm very glad to hear your sister lives closer now :) Also wheeee for getting a job!! :D Where do you work now? Is it going well so far? And no, sadly I don't listen to or don't even know any of the artists you're gonna see :( Your list is so impressively huge btw, my events list is completely empty now for the first time in ages... But otherwise life is good, can't complain! Looking forward to hearing from you! Big hugs! :)

Hi! Long time no talk... I miss you! :) Are you doing well? What has been going on in your life? Have you found a job maybe? I haven't told you about it until I had an idea about whether or not it was doable, but actually for a while I was thinking of going to Budapest to see The Boxer Rebellion. I started listening to them more often lately and really really like them and it would've been awesome to see them live and of course see you again! :) But then another show got announced so I'll be in Germany over that weekend... I see you have several shows lined up for the future, that is so awesome! Busy concert year for you! Are you otherwise doing fine? I certainly hope so! Many hugs!

Hi girl! Sooo nice to hear from you! :D And big apologies I'm replying only now. Even though I'm currently on vacation, time is just going by so fast! I'm very good, thank you :) How is current work situation? Anything on the horizon? It's awful, the current economical situation and how freaking difficult it is to get a job if you're without one... I'm wishing you much much luck in getting one, and as soon as possible! Also, very sorry to hear about Woodkin :( There is nothing worse, so close and you can't go. As for Sziget, no, sadly I definitely won't go. I'm already attending two festivals around that time, and am totally short on money this year. I also am not sure about Berlin festival, for the same reason, and cause Editors are in Zagreb just three days earlier, for a solo show, and Berlin is expensive. Who are you looking forward to the most at Sziget? Will you get a press pass? How are you otherwise? Hope everything is well with you! Many hugs! ♥♥

Hellooooo! :D it feels like we haven't talked in ages! How have you been? :) I come bringing exciting news: http://www.last.fm/event/3891309+Editors+at+Tvornica+kulture+on+4+September+2014 Nothing is official yet, I mean neither Tom tweeted about it nor has there been an announcement from them. But it's been announced by media here on Thursday and tickets supposedly went on sale on Friday. I haven't been to shops yet cause I want to get it officially announced first. But you can also buy them on Eventim.hr, so it does seem like it's happening! The show is super cheap, just €17! As much as I paid back in 2010 when I saw them here for the first time, hee! Plus it looks like that will be a solo show, and it's a small venue near to where I live. I was there once. It if would happen, it would be super super awesome of course! So I just wanted to let you know! Many many hugs! :)

Hello girl! How are you doing? Is life treating you well? :) I see you're going to Berlin next week, how awesome! Gosh I love Berlin! Several amazing shows I saw there over the last few years. Do you know Editors play Berlin festival this year? I'm waiting for the announcement on which day to see if I'll be able to come, I'd certainly love to! Hope to catch you somewhere this summer! If we don't talk in between, have a safe trip to Berlin and a great show! :D

Morning! Up early on a Saturday? Me too! Went to bed super early and feeling so rested and well today :) It's a sunny day outside, quite warm, I'm meeting a friend for a walk later and hoping to a relaxing weekend ahead. I hope you are well! :D It would so cool if we could meet this year for a show or a festival. Just checking out Sziget festival, nothing too interesting so far, except for Palma Violets. Who are you particularly looking forward to seeing? Maybe more artists will be added later? I see Hurts are playing the Volt festival, but I'm still working then and I'm kinda broke at the moment XD Let's see what else comes up. I'd LOVE to see you this year! I often go back to those few pics of us in front row at Sziget, they are absolutely perfect ♥♥

Hi girl, how are you? I haven't been online much in recent months and feel like I haven't talked to my friends much, so it's the weekend now and I'm trying to make up for this... I hope life is good for you? Here everything is okay. I have only four more months before summer vacation, that's insane, this year has rushed by. Work is fine, a bit busy but at least the days fly by. I'm in the middle of my mini Editors tour, I was lucky that they had a couple of shows close to weekends, so I'm leaving to see them for the second time next Friday. I'm going to the cinema a lot yet again, watched the Oscars, many nominees were playing in the cinema, so that was fun! I see your events list is sooo full, and you already went to two shows this year! Amazing! I checked out Sziget lineup, but so far nothing that caught my attention. How are you otherwise? Miss talking to you! Biggest hugs!

I should check out the other albums from Keane then, I thought they'd gone in a different direction with Perfect Symmetry and so never bothered to check out their work post this album. We ended up in a pub in North Devon that weekend and saw a girl called Jazz Morley play a set. She is pretty much unknown really, just locally i think, but she was very good anyway. Also thank you for all the links, I will get listening soon and look forward to it. It sounds like you had a good selection of acts at the concert. I will write again with my thoughts on the links...

hello. sorry i took so long to write back, i've had a busy few weeks. I still haven't got round to listening to Hidden Orchestra, have you had a chance yet? I have to admit Jazz isn't one of my favourites either so maybe that's why i've put it off. If you have had a listen i'd be interested to hear what you think. I like Keane as well, which album was it you left with your friend, I'm really only familiar with Hopes and Fears and Iron Sea, I didn't get into there one with 'spiralling' on. unsure of the album title but i'm sure you'll know which one i mean. As for Editors, sadly i didn't get to go, we went away that weekend to see another local act in the north of the county and that ended up draining my finances somewhat, but i will defintley keep an eye out for them in the future and I still have Olafur to look forward to. Have you come across any other new music finds lately?

Sorry for the delay in replying to you. Poppy Ackroyd is such a find, I've listened to her album only a handful of times so far but I love it. It fits perfectly with the sort of music I am currently loving! I looked to see if she was touring as a solo artist anywhere near here but couldn't see that she was so, so your latest tip about the hidden orchestra sounds great. I'll be sure to give them a listen soon as well. there is so much good music to experiment with. As for your work having your own office sounds like heaven to me, I work in an office full of others and it's like my own personal nightmare, i'd love to have some space and be able to listen to music while i work. i genuinely think i'd be more productive. I hope all is going well with you and your getting some more time to relax and aren't to hectic with work.

i really hope she comes back this way again in the near future so I can see her live. I am also really looking forward to checking out your recommendation of Poppy Ackroyd, I will give her a listen as soon as I can and let you know what I think. I'm always happy to listen to new music and get recommendations and from having a quick glance at her last fm page, i'm already eager to listen to her music!

thank you for the detailed reply. i love long shouts :) your job/hobby writing for the magazine sounds amazing, i would love to do something like that, although you aren't getting paid, free concert tickets and meeting the artists seems like payment enough. I am envious. so what is your new job you have recently got which is preventing you from attending concerts? Work always gets in the way! I am working, not studying. Sadly my job is incredibly dull and unremarkable. I work in a hospital. As for seeing Olafur live, it is funny you have mentioned that as I am just booking tickets to see him in Bristol (which is a lot closer to me than London) as i type this. Unfortunately London is a long way from me and so would require over night stays and long drives, where as Bristol is not so far and I can drive home after the performance to save money on accomodation, and as it's not till December I will have time to save some petrol money up which I didn't have time to do for Agnes.

hey, thanks so much for your reply. so what is it you do for your job? it certainly sounds interesting if you are getting to interview Olafur Arnalds and it's work! I am suitably jealous that you have met him. I would love to see him live, i can imagine how wonderful it would be with a full orchestra. I will also look forward to Nils' new album. As for the Editors I will try and get hold of their newest album as well and get to the tour, although tickets are fairly expensive so it will all depend on my finances. and yes I was looking at going to see Agnes Obel but again, finances permit me going as it would also be about a 3 hour round trip as well as the ticket prices so sadly I couldn't go. The joys of being totally poor. hopefully I will get to see her at some other time. I will try and save enough to go see Editors. Have you got any exciting concerts coming up?

Hello darling! I'm back from my epic trip of epic show and epic memories... It was beyond amazing and OMG why can't we have that at least a couple of times a year? And how can a band be as perfect as they are?! I freaking adore them so much! And their new record! And their shows! And like waaaah! The only thing that made Vienna sad was that I was thinking about you and my other Hungarian friends and wishing you could've joined me! But I hope they will be back in 2014 and then we HAVE TO find a way to get to at least one show together! I will be putting together my photos and pre-written reviews (how did I ever live without a smartphone before?!) together and if you feel like it, I can share everything with you! Many many hugs! :D

Hello darling! So nice to hear from you! I have been so absent from last.fm and internet in general lately... I've missed spending my time here as usually... Hope to make up for it soon. I am sorry to hear that the possibility you maybe had in Berlin seems to be gone by now :/ Anything else possibly showing up on the horizon? Wishing you much luck with job hunt! I'm leaving tomorrow evening and am back home early on Wed morning and need to be at work at 8 am XD The lucky thing is that Tuesday is a national holiday and we got Monday off too, so I could use the weekend for three shows in a row. Will shout as soon as I'm back from work (my schedule for Wed is full and there's some things I'll have to participate in and I have no idea how I'll manage to concentrate due to lack of sleep and post-show excitement ;) Anyway I also owe a more serious email to you and a couple of my other friends here due to some real-life drama, but not today. Wishing you a lovely evening and a great weekend!

hey, thanks for the reply. Agnes' album is one of the best of the year for me too and there have been some truly great new albums this year so that's saying a lot. You should definitely give Philharmonics more listening as well. it's an amazing album, so many stand out tracks. I'm listening to Olafur this morning 'For Now I Am Winter' which I only got recently so I haven't given it the listening it deserves. It's a beautiful album. When is Nils' new album due for release? I would be interested to hear that. Also could you recommend me an Editors album to start? I know a few of thier tracks but have never had an album.

Well let's say I didn't agree with it anymore. ;) It's about how there is no 'wow' in art and music nowadays, and that's not true at all now is it? I mean, sure there is some awful music out there, but there is so much good music too! Maybe I was having a disappointing day music-wise when I made that account, haha. I can't remember! Have a lovely sunday! :)

Hi darling! I was just shouting to mandoneona and saw you posted right below me :) How have you been? Is all well with you? I had a hellish last month, some stress but also looots to do and very little free time, and I miss my time online! Luckily things seem to be settling down soon, I hope! I have all my Editors shows coming up and that's what keeps me going, but I haven't booked train tickets yet and I need to do it asap! Eep! I hope all goes well with it! I see you have some shows coming up, and one next year! I always find it comforting when I have a show in distant future cause it means excitement is still a long time away and I have something to look forward to, if it makes sense. Are you doing well? Is life well? How about that job opportunity you mentioned to mandoneona? Much luck with that! :D

Hello! Thank you SO MUCH for your birthday wishes! :D And totally doesn't matter that it's a bit late, really! :) I had a great great one, and the week before it, of course!! I hope the crazy things that made you stay at Sziget longer than planned were good things :) I sooo know the post-concert exhaustion of staying up all night, ugh I hate it... And lol about falling asleep in front of the laptop XD It's a good thing you got some rest after all and I hope you're back to your normal self now :) And Sziget is only once a year after all, so it's totally worth it I'd say ;) I totally totally had a blast during the whole week! I would LOVE to return!! Hopefully in the next years there's also be a time when I have someone I'd like to see on at least two days, that would be reason enough for me to return :) And everything was cheap and I loved camping and getting front row wasn't too difficult and I had a GREAT TIME with you and other Hungarian friends ^^ Wishing you a great day! Many hugs!

Hello girl, you're still at Sziget at some concert as I'm typing you this. I hope you're having a great great time :) Anyway I got back home safely, an hour after I was supposed to cause the train was delayed, but never mind that. I had a wonderful wonderful time. I can't believe I stayed there for a week, it totally rushed by! Feels like much less... I am so happy we got to hang out every single day and got to witness quite a few shows together :) Rocking out side by side! Particularly grateful for the wonderful Editors experience, all the girls together in our little corner on the left ^^ Do you know if the video of the show will be available anywhere or if the stream got recorded? It was such an amazing show, still can't believe it. Anyway I have to go take a shower and then off to bed cause I'm freaking exhausted. Just wanted to say thank you for everything, you were so kind to me,and I'm sorry if I annoyed you in any way. I hope we see each other soon at some other occasion. HUGS!

Is it something you'd recommend? I was thinking, if the weather will be so hot, I may not feel like walking around on other days, especially if I'll be going to bed late, so this seems like the cheapest and easiest way to see a lot. I also read you can ride a boat with that ticket, I'd LOVE that :D Anyway I was meaning to ask you, if you're in Budapest on Tuesday and it's not very late, maybe we can meet for a drink or something? :) If not, I left you my schedule, so we'll see each other on Wed at Sziget :) I read that there's a wifi tent, so if you email me or leave a shout, I may be able to read them :) If not, text me, my cell number is the same (yours as well?) Oh and about Switchfoot pics, I'll burn them on the CD for you, so please just remind me I give them to you there :) I hope I covered everything. I AM SO EXCITED!! If we don't speak beforehand, see you there! :D

Just quickly before I head to bed (I was supposed to be sleeping by now, I always go to bed so late on the day when I'm supposed to travel, lol!) So anyway my train leaves at 10 am, which should give me some time online tomorrow too. I checked out and printed out your schedule :) I think I won't go between stages cause I care more about front row than discovering new music XD Which almost never happens anyway, lol! Gosh it seems next week will be so hot in Hungary, eep! I TOTALLY forgot we saw Biffy Clyro together :p I must not have been impressed by them then XD I listened to their latest albums and love them so I'm so happy about them at Sziget! I saw Editors got moved to a later spot. I hope the-honey won't find it too difficult having a longer time to wait until they're on the stage :/ Oh you said you'd be in Budapest on Tuesday evening? Late in the evening? I planned to book a Giraffe hop on hop off ticket and do the sightseeing that way on Tuesday.

Aug 10th is all about camping out for Editors, hehe! I plan to be there as soon as the gates open and hopefully grab that front row rail and not move ;) Afterwards I have no plans, but I think the-honey will like to stay for Mika? I really don't mind and can check him out. And I even thought to maybe travel back home on Aug 11th (so that I'm home for my birthday and not spend it on the train) but a friend of mine (you met her last year) who'll travel to Sziget for Editors said she may stay one extra day for Franz Ferdinand, so if she does, I guess I'll be at the main stage with her. And that's pretty much it. I have six artists I'm interested in - Editors, Regina, Bat For Lashes, Biffy Clyro, Dry The River, Flogging Molly. So I mainly organized my days to be as close as possible for them (or at least the first four). If you have the time, I'd love to get your schedule, either here or on email :) Ok, I'll be off now, speak when I'm back! SO HAPPY I'LL BE SEEING YOU SOON! :D Hugs!

Hello girl! Just quick, cause I should've been in bed a loooong time ago :p I'm off to a city on the coast tomorrow, together with a friend, to visit another friend. I think we'll stay 3-4 days :) It'll be weird not to be off on a concert travel, I rarely go somewhere if it's not for a show, lol! Anyway, I just wanted to let you know about Sziget. Since my schedule plan is simple, I'll just write it here XD On the 7th I think I'll just be at the A38 stage cause I'm super interested in Bat For Lashes and want to save up a good spot (she starts at 23:30) and before her are Flogging Molly, and a friend of mine saw them live and told me I have to check them out, and I think I may like them. Aug 8th is all about the main stage, cause of my beloved Regina. And I saw Biffy Clyro in Arras and loved them! So I'm happy they're also playing on that stage :D So I'll keep my spot. Aug 9th, I want to see Dry The River, but otherwise have no plans, so we can check out different stages together :)

Hi! OMG sorry for saying that, but I'll never be able to hear about 30 Seconds To Mars or see their video or someone listening to them without remembering the horror of seeing them in Arras before Green Day :p It was just so traumatic and BRUTAL and I think probably the most aggressive show I've EVER been to (and I think I have quite a lot of experience with managing to keep my spot and surviving rough crowd). I couldn't even focus on music, that's how awful it was. Anyway, I just wanted to ask you, have you sort of decided who you want to see on each of the days? You will be at the festival for all five days, right? I think I kinda made my schedule. I think I'll spend the whole time of each of the days in front of just one stage cause I'd like to keep my position. Luckily, besides the three artists I go there for (Editors, Regina Spektor, Bat For Lashes) there are a couple of artists I like, and the ones that play on the same day as those three are on the same stage, whee! :D

Just a quick hi! I spent most of my day sorting out my backup of the photos I've taken over the past two years or so, I burn them to the DVD and then check if the DVD was burned alright and then delete them off the hard drive. So I stumbled upon the pics of us in Vienna seeing Switchfoot! Good memories :) Have I ever sent you those pics? The ones from the show suuuuuck :p Cause my camera is so bad! But I have a couple of the two of us together, so if you don't have them, I could upload them somewhere or send them to you over email? Just let me know :) Hope you're fine otherwise :) Many hugs!

Thanks for letting me know what your friend says! :D Yay for loving Warm Bodies! An amazing movie, and totally unexpectedly, I had no idea it would be this amazing! Oh tumblr, that's what I thought it's like. I need to open Instagram too, I hate how there's more and more of those social networks out there and you need to have several to be able to keep up with it :/ I haven't seen Fast And Furious cause those movies just don't interest me. And I haven't heard of those two you recommended, but they sound cool :) I watched World War Z yesterday and may go to see Monsters University and The Lone Ranger tomorrow. I'm totally enjoying my vacation time, doing nothing but being online and listening to the music :) Oh how cool, another concert thing happening today for you! I'm wishing you a LOT of fun!! :D And as for the test, hopefully it means you're among the few they're considering to hire! Keeping my fingers crossed for you! It was fun shouting! And I have to be at Sziget at least between August 7th and 10th cause it would make no sense to get back home for August 9th when there's no one playing. And if I'm already there, I'd feel bad not being able to experience other days too. I'm trying to be rational about the camping. I mean what's the worst thing that can happen? Showers can be cold, toilets can be messy, it can be loud. But there will be people around and I won't go wandering around in the middle of the night when there's no one there and I have a lock on my tent from the outside when I'm away and from the inside when I'm sleeping and it's cheap. So I do hope that if I do camp, it'll be fine. If I do decide to do it, do you know if I can just go to a ticket shop where I got my non-camping week ticket and exchange it for a week-ticket with camping? I should ask. I really hope I'll be fine. I am adventurous and ready for anything when it comes to camping XD It would be easier if I knew someone there staying for a week...

I think that on the days when I have someone I love playing (7th, 8th and 10th) I won't be switching stages but would just stay at the one stage to keep my good position, but thankfully on each of the days, besides my band, there's at least one other band playing. For other days, I may move between stages and don't necessarily need to be up front. I am really really unsure what to do about camping. I'd say I'm not really sensitive about stuff like that, I mean I survived the camp in Arras and stayed there for three nights, and I actually loved the experience, lol! Despite the showers being not that good, but I mean I was all hyped up cause of the music and found the camping fun. So I'm sure I won't be THAT bothered by drunk people, I'd probably get there on August 5th and pick a spot that's a bit away from the noise and the crowd and just hope for the best. You did get me scared though. But I just know that getting a hostel would cost me way too much. I'm afraid I can't afford it :/

Hmmm, this last.fm scrobbling thing gets funnier and funnier. It's actually scrobbling what I'm currently listening but stops the second the song is over and then it's not displayed in my recently listened tracks anymore. And now I see that the songs that I listened to last night are listed as if I had listened to them 4-5 times each, and I see it's the same for you. And not ALL the songs I listened to are listed, I remember I listened to a couple more before going to bed and they're not there anymore. I hope it's the issue with last.fm (seems to be, since you are having problems too) and not with Winamp, cause I upgraded to a new version a couple of days ago, but forgot when exactly and if the problems started then XD I am so happy for you that you got your week ticket for Sziget! So you had to pay a full price? I agree, it will be an amazing week! I checked out the schedule and I have to make some decisions who to see on which stage on which day, lol.

So it's quite a price difference between paying like €30 for the whole week of camping or €130 at least for a hostel (possibly even a lot more), and I fear even more since it's quite close to the festival now. Plus I really wouldn't like to be too far away from the venue cause of staying there at the shows every night and I'd rather not go back through half a city on my own, and I bet all the cheaper hostels near the venue are sold out by now. Last year's hostel had such bad showers and bathroom that it was like staying in a camp anyway, and I'd pretty much choose a hostel over a camp only cause of the bathrooms, I'm not bothered about anything else. So I was thinking camping is more or less the only doable thing for me... I don't know what to do now. Do you by any chance know anyone who actually stayed there at the camp? And thanks so much for the info! Don't worry about worrying me ;) Oh and don't worry about not replying quickly, when you catch the time! Many hugs!

Or is the cleanness awful as well? The only bad thing about camping in Arras were the showers, but I was thinking of getting a bathing suit and just toughing it through, it's 5-6 showers only, I can live with that :p There were drunk people in Arras too, but I just put my tent next to some girls that seemed okay when I arrived, and I had those ear plus that I used when going to bed, and I was not bothered. Do you think the camp may not be safe? Like drunk people trying to get into my tent or something? Cause if it's just about drunk people walking around/staying up partying and being loud, I know it's something you can expect from a camp and it's not something I'm happy with but it's not the worst thing ever either. The thing is, I totally used my savings on this trip, and I need to buy tickets for Editors in October, and then New Year's Eve in London, for which I have to buy train tickets now and pay for two tickets for the musical, and a hostel there will be expensive too.

Hello darling! Oh no worries, take your time! I hope you're not too busy atm and that life is treating you good :) My vacation officially starts today, so I'm feeling particularly happy, hehe! I have so many plans for my weeks off, most of all I finally need to completely back up my computer, sort out my files, delete some stuff I don't use that often and so on. Glad you liked my PM :) About Sziget, no, I haven't exchanged the non-camping for the camping ticket yet. Actually I read on the website that if you have a week pass and want to do camping, you pay there once you arrive, but then I read some guidelines about some other festival where you could do the same until the camp was full so I was afraid to risk not getting a spot to camp once I arrive and was thinking of going to a ticket shop today where I got my ticket and exchanging it. I have to say that now you got me worried :/ Are drunk people the worst problem? Is that what you're referring to when you said it's disgusting?

I'm still up (doing the final setlist party for Green Day for a while) and I was just spending some time on tumblr and saw your retweet of Warm Bodies and since I can't reply there (cause it's a retweet, right? The only way to add a comment would be that I retweet it too? I'm still so confused about all things tumblr ;) I want to say here that I freaking LOVED that movie! Totally didn't expect to, but it was so sweet and romantic and had a lot of heart. Oh and excellent music too (The National at the end of it ♥) so I had to see it for one more time before it was gone from the cinema. I think I'd like to own that one on the DVD. Do you have any movie recommendations for me btw? I haven't been to the cinema in like three weeks already, eek! Cause work and preparation for my trip kept me busy. So I need to watch The Heat, Monsters University, The Lone Ranger, Now You See Me, World War Z..The last ones I watched were After Earth and Man Of Steel and I didn't like either of them that much.
