You're one of my neighbours. I'm intrigued by another person that loves Saint Etienne, and also listens to William Basinski, Robyn and Charles Aznavour.

Why is there no lady gaga scrobbled? Methinks you have attempted to hide it out of shame. Quite right sir.

No i've not heard it - is it available to listen to on LastFm? I'm really into Ellie Goulding's album at the moment - did you know she went to the University of Kent? No.1 album in the UK! Mental.

Hey Andy! How's life? Good to see Wildbirds and Peacedrums in your list. I saw them this summer and they were amazing.

Oh wow, well good luck with the last couple of hurdles, must be a relief to be finishing it now. What does it mean when it's finished, does it open more doors to doing other stuff in the future? I've enjoyed some aspects of teaching. I assisted a teacher going into a primary school on wednesday and really enjoyed that. The school have already said I can do my GTP there next September if I want to. After doing a full day's work for the last 6 weeks, I think i'll make more of my time in my final year, that's for sure, lol.

Heylo Andy, I'm good thanks! Just been doing some work experience at my old secondary school for the last 6 weeks. Just trying to work out whether I want to be a teacher...scary times! How're you doing, having a good summer so far?

It's always a bit of an anti-climax after handing essays in for me. I keep thinking there's something I should be doing. Well, in reality, there is revision to do... Mm, further education certainly sounds like a lonely world from friends' experiences. I'm off to meet Ben for lunch now so will ask him about Stratford. Speak soon!

Hi Andy - I just feel like a monumental idiot now, lol. Yeah I checked the english website and found the bit aboutn official deadlines. It was a stressful week and I let the panic take over, lol. All is well now though! So, are you feeling a gaping hole in your soul between the hours or 9 and 11 on Wednesday morning's or waking up to lastfm and singing with joy?

Aw, that must have been amazing. I was actually just sitting at the keyboard playing 'Baker Baker' from 'Under The Pink' (and not doing any work...) I've been addicted to Tori again recently, her 'Welcome to Sunny Florida' DVD is amaaazing. I gotta head to an American Literature seminar, fun times. See you Wednesday!

Lou's since done some solo stuff, have you heard any? I'm sure I remember stumbling on some videos on youtube somehwere...I haven't been to Orange Street in so long, I'm bound to be rusty but on the website it does say there's an open mic night on monday 30th of march, so i'll pencil it in. It's a shame I never asked you to come before christmas, I was playing 'River' by Joni Mitchell as soon as it was November, lol.

Why has no-one else been excited by this?! I love their music. I played 'Gabriel' at an open mic night at Orange Street last year. I read that their relationship was always a struggle in that they had to spend a lot of time together but argued a lot - like most bands I guess.

Are you actually joking me? The band that did 'Gabriel' and 'Gorecki'? I have 3 of their albums in my hand right now. How did that come about, you working with them? Was that in Manchester?

Alanis is God. Well, she was in the film Dogma at least. Tom Waits has been recommended to me before but I haven't made the time to listen, i'll go have a looksee. Have you listened to 'Lamb'?

Yeah, I unfortunately was a sufferer of the stomach bug but am almost recovered so I should make it on Wednesday. Our musical compatibility is low i'm afraid but i'm glad to see Alanis Morissette and Bjork in your library, woo!

Hey Andy - nice to see you on LastFm! Jess added me on facebook which lead me to her LastFm which lead me neatly here. I read about Kirsty's gig, that sounds good - hopefully Ben'll be up for it too. See you Wednesday!

Mysteriously our compatibility has changed again, this time to high. Perhaps the Cocteau Twins and Kirtsy McGee are to do with this. :)

Aww, Andy our musical compatability has reduced from medium to low - how tragic*. What does this mean? /// *tragic referring to its present day usage here :p

Okay, that was a huge generalisation about icelandic music, but I like to think icelandic music sounds icelandic. :) I've not heard of the Cocteau Twins until now, but just having a quick listen and they do sound rather fab and also appear to be linked to This Mortal Coil and Dead can Dance! How exciting.

I don't think there is too much too get with last.fm! But I'm glad you approve of sigur ros, something about the icy weather we have at the moment inspires me to listen to them, Icelandic music always seems to sound so distinctly... icelandic. :p
