see you've been listening to MBV recently. I got totally addicted to Loveless recently; hadn't played it for ages then couldn't get it out the CD player...

Albums that I've listened to lately include Beyonce - I Am... Sasha Fierce. Simply Red - Greatest Hits. The original "Grease" soundtrack. Crowded House - Together Alone. Elvis Costello And The Attractions - Almost Blue. Oasis - Be Here Now. Sting - Brand New Day. Madonna - The Immaculate Collection. A “Creation Records” compilation, and Ben Folds Five - Whatever And Ever Amen. I only know one track by Tame Impala, called “Solitude Is Bliss”, which I like. Todd Rundgren is an unsung hero. I’ll have a listen to some Creedence Clearwater Revival, I don’t think I know any of their music. xx

It's one of my favourite tracks by The Supremes also! "When You Tell Me That You Love Me" is my favourite track by Diana Ross, that's a classic romantic love song. Do you have any recommendations? This is a list of some songs that I've been enjoying in recent times, that I think you would like too. Toto - Rosanna. Sugar - If I Can't Change Your Mind. Joe Brown And The Bruvvers - A Picture Of You. The Delgados - American Trilogy. The Stairs - Flying Machine. World Party - Ship Of Fools. Foreigner - Feels Like The First Time. The Mamas And The Papas - Monday, Monday. Shakin' Stevens - Teardrops. Spacehog - In The Meantime.

alright Angus, we should try and keep up on MSN i think, like at the very least a fortnightly chat. How is everything, what did you think of the myspace profile? Marilyn has a possible solution to the hyperlink problem. You should listen to JAPAN once you get over this new power pop craze the kids are all raving about!

Because it's good old-fashioned H.League/G.Numan-style synth pop, i like her voice and the backing is sometimes impressive... i know it's all painfully contemporary but she is streets ahead of the other fem-soloists bogging up the airwaves these days... Not the coolest choice for sure. Bat For Lashes is another one, a direct Kate Bush-off,

Angus, I did notice your Posies recommendation btw, 'Frosting On the Beater' I always enjoyed. I have been on a bit of a classic thrash/Kraftwerk bent the last week, some totally ridiculous albums. I don't know why you still don't have Megadeth's 'Rust In Peace' album, sort that out

Hey how's things? How'd you get on with the Road to V? I'm currently in love with Kate Bush, her early albums are just so good! Right now I'm listening to these noisy bastards called 'Future of the Left', pretty good, formed after the breakup of Mclusky apparently, check em' out. Chesterf!elds are great, classic old fasioned indie.

it is pretty good, the songs are interspersed with little recordings of one of the bandmembers' granddad telling funny stories which works quite well before veering off into whimsy again. 'Cardboard Watch' is a classic. As you know these rarer albums can be hit or miss but this is a good one. I am getting back on the UK psych bandwagon again, the west coast stuff can almost be too druggy sometimes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ItCmFjYbic thumbs up on the idle race!

Thanks for listening to my music! Yeah, I love keyboards, I have a whole pile of them, the king of them all being the Korg Triton! XD I was planning on doing an article on Henry's Phonograph for my music blog, A Future in Noise- perhaps I could send along some interview questions for you and the guys if you'd be down with that!

Listened to your song - don't touch me - last night. Reminded me of another song, which is a good thing. But now it's bugging me what that other song was! Any clues?

Happy to give you my vote - I clicked the 'become a fan button' - does that leave a vote? Not been on the site before... Hey, have you checked out Spotify yet - it's great, has tons of stuff, better for streaming than last.fm and you can still scrobble. Good weekend!
