Ah that's such a shame! Yeah I was thinking about it but I have too many gigs booked for the first half of this year already anyway. If it's rescheduled I'll defo try to go.

It's been cancelled now. My dad got a message saying they'd all be getting a refund. He's a bit miffed because he's had four or five that have been cancelled already this year. I'm going to have to watch to see what prog goes to Edinburgh and double check if you're going haha :)

I love him! He's quite possibly my favourite young English folk artist. Saw him live a couple years back and it was just so wonderful.

I saw them at Summer Breeze and Hellfest. Such an awesome band, aaaasah!!!! Yossi's solo albums are pretty good too, you should check them out :) I'm only really getting into Subway to Sally. I love Sieben a lot but only just listening properly now. I've been at Summer Breeze twice when they've played but there has always been someone else on the other stage that I wanted to see more!

Hey man, I see you're going to Yob and Pallbearer in Glasgow in September. My band [artist]Buried Sleeper[/artist] are opening, I'd appreciate it if you would check us out before the gig... who knows, you might like us and come to support us. :) Cheers! http://buriedsleeper.bandcamp.com

Yeah man, I've been putting off using it, and it still kinda annoys me, but hey. It's good for discovering new stuff, eh. Eventually I hope my play counts are a realistic representation of what I listen to...

Thank you, your library is even more impressive :) You caught my attention already back in late 2008 or so ...

In reference to your question about Tuna 1613: Tuna is the old name of the Swedish town of Eskilstuna, so you had guessed correctly, sort of. The whole album refers the lore of Johannes Bureus (note "Further reading"!), including the use of chronograms. I'm not completely sure what exactly the title alludes to, but it may have something to do with Gustav II Adolf, the "Lion of the North" (= "Löwe aus Mitternacht"), to whom Sabaton have devoted their album "Carolus Rex", too: the Kalmar War ended in 1613.

Ah I love Bruce Springsteen too! I want to see him live but it's always too expensive xD. Ah check out Amon Amarth's last album, I think it's their best but I might be too fanboyish xD. Yeah, half the stuff I listen to doesn't scrobble, which is kinda annoying. (It's all yours and Brenden's fault for getting me into last.fm, now I can't enjoy music if it doesn't scrobble :P)

and you like Amon Amarth just as much as Edguy! Analysing last.fm charts is like studying maths, right?

To be honest, One Way Ticket To Hell (the song) was the first song I've heard of them (I think it was the music video I saw on TV) and I loved it. But yeah, as an overall album, the first and the third are far better.

Oh, good luck with that job thing, it seems harder to find a place these days. I will hopefully do some steady working in the summer as well, festival fundraising :D after all the gigs won't pay by themselves. Pray to the devil in man is flawless and I really hope they won't decide to change something in the production of the full length. It hasn't been once when I overexcite myself for an album and they completely fuck it up with some modern overproducing. Electric wizard will be releasing their new LP in May so that's the big month for me...

Oh man, I saw that a few days ago and my first thought was "damn, I hope I am still here in May" :D I have this nightmare in which Saint Vitus announce playing in Glasgow in August. On a positive note, I am going to stay a bit after the semester/exams end so I most likely will make it to Swans. Cheers for sharing the event. I take it you will be here during the summer.

Haha, crazy. They probably didn't read the constitution as it clearly gives us the right to refuse membership to someone ;d Anyway, I feel kinda proud for tricking the system, haha. 6pm seems about fine to me, Jim's bar?

theyre just boring. its like they want to be big and adventurey but their riffs are poopy boring and they have the atmosphere of a burst sandwich bag. it reminds me of that whole satriani type scene. intronaut i like and they did have awesome bits and their stage screen thing was cool. the two supports were good. colours to shame were like btbam mixed with the cardiacs.

it was a really ok gig. it got good at times during the opening bands, and for about 20 mins in the middle of intronauts set, it got bad at times during scale the summit (in fact all of scale the summit was pish) but i wouldn't go see intronaut again.

oh thats different. maybe next show hell have a bat. i like the long ones but when we got them on the morgul compilation the wee three minute song was the only one thatd fit. three minute doom songs are handy for things like that
