I try to make everybody step into the space jam. I think the better question is, who doesn't want to step into the space jam?

I love that First Base; thank you for the share! Now I'm looking into their stuff via youtube. Diggin' that bubble gum sound :) I can hear Ramones influence with a tinge of the Beach Boys-esque vocals. All their stuff is chalk-full of fun, I dig it. What era/album of Grand Buffet do you dig? They're an epic duo of rappin' dudes.

Wild at Heart is better than Blue Velvet...Um, OK, why? Is it cos Nicolas Cage is sexier than Kyle Maclachlan ( not that I would know that ofc)... I don't really like Huey Lewis & The News much I'm too square to be hip ;-)

I feel the same way with a lot of famous people. No matter what song and dance and facade you replicate to the public, you can't polish shit. Like Lady Gaga for instance. Brilliant they call her. Selfless they call her. She seems like an ugly creature capitalizing on gay rights to fuel her ticket sales. Seriously. Her music is generic as hell radio nonsense. If she was unique pop I would have no problem with her. She's just taking shit and everyone's raving about it like it's so different from other crap in the genre. Same with lil' wayne. There is no way Tom Hanks is a dick. It's unfathomable. It's like he said in the green mile, I don't think god (bah) would give a talent/miracle to a man as deviant as we think he is. Well....that was far from the context of the quote but you get my gist.

William Burroughs. Plays a Priest/ex-junkie in that movie. He referred to himself as "the priest" in numerous parts in his pieces/life. Wow, that actually sounds interesting. The premise reminded me of Breakfast on Pluto. Never seen it myself. Just know that one fucker from Red Eye plays a questionably eccentric young wippersnapper. So I've yet to determine with you like Crudup or you think he's a reincarnation of Billy Mays.

Haha I gotcha, Drugstore was so much more linear then Jesus Son but the book is a more tangible version of Naked Lunch minus the sodomy. Guess who made a cameo in that movie? ZEE PRIEST. Haha, wait Crudup was in American Beauty? Or do you mean Almost Famous? Who'd he play? Fuck pregnant women, steal bling and commit felonies. Then let your demon spawn mutilate the Earth. That's what Aesop taught me at least

Haha you think? I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The book was more of fablesque though, and the fact Johnson was a full fledged homeless junkie whilst writing it remains to be a ridiculous factor in the creation of such a work. I couldn't tell you else Crudup's in

ha no problem. Yup it's from the novel by Denis Johnson. The movie is good though, Billy Crudup plays a good fuckhead. Have you read it?

I am haunted by the spirits of the meals that I've eaten, but fear most the revenge of the meat that I've beaten.
