Very cool! I haven't heard Necro Deathmort or the Flying Horseman, anywhere you'd suggest starting with those bands?

To be exact it's because of "Venom, Sodom, Death Angel, Bethroned und Triptykon." Which is sort of funny, cause Bethroned I only checked for the SNMR voting (didn't like it) and Sodom + Death Angel are also not very big in my playlist.

Hey Maarten, I wasn't aware last.fm calculated that our compatibility is "very high" ;)

Don't feel that your influence is too bad, could you imagine that I would NOT buy a new Enslaved album? ;-) I am looking forward to it and in the meantime YOU could do worse than have a listen to the new Galar album; not sure if you will find it too messy but I like it even though it will not be number one for 2010.

The word "avant - garde" is a reference to the italian poetic/artistic movement of the early XX century. regards.

Sounds jolly good sir! Good luck with the move and potential job change. Heh, well it was the first two days I've had free and been with my recording set-up for a while... I'll start working 'in a 70s style' come September, promise! Lyrics for the previous song are here by the way, you may enjoy them http://www.myspace.com/indigent/blog

Well I wrote and recorded the whole thing in two days as a joke for a 'close personal friend', so I agree the sound isn't great, and the riffs are probably stolen :-D I think the more black metally-riff is a bit Keep of Kalessin-ish perhaps? Interesting SYL comparison, yeah I maybe vaguely get that... but 'proper' new Indigent when I get round to it won't really be death metal at all any more I think. How are you doing these days anyway?

Funny you should mention that... http://indigent.co.uk/indigent/Indigent-Tonight.mp3 Not really proper Indigent I'm afraid (explanation here: http://www.snakenetmetalradio.com/heavymetallounge/4rum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=20589 ), hopefully that will come in a progtastic explosion all over your face within the next, er, year maybe?

LOL! All that punk hating for my part was perhaps a bit bombastic ;-) When it comes to music (and I am sure I have stated that before) very curious and and more interested in good music than genres and what is tr00 and stuff and some punk is very good as is some hard core as well. Not my favourite genres, but that does not make all of it shit :-) OH...and The Black Album is not tr00 either :-p

I did no offence, just a bad attempt at humour from my side :-D I do not in any way see you as an elitist arse (a least not in a negative sense) and I take it as a good measure of a serious attitude towards music to share some of the same taste with you ...and the two other gentlemen for that matter.

Last year when I posted my Best Of for the year you had a lot of great suggestions. I just wanted to let you know that I posted my Best Of 2009 if you have any others. I'm still listening to a few that you suggested last year that I missed. ;-]

yeah i suppose the next release would be a better gauge of what they will sound like, i'm still not going to put too much hope into it, since hupo and sol were(from what i've read and understood) the main songwriters. regardless, it's not an awful album, just...not as good. kammarheit is a dark ambient artist, some of the stuff in my top 50 is, good for relaxing or sleeping :)
