Also it's funny about the Grime trying to be Hip-Hop thing which is happening again because for me that's what killed it off in 07. I've more or less given up on modern Grime apart from The Square and YGG, it's not for me anymore. There's almost no hint of the Garage sounds which it originally came from in there anymore.

I don't remember who it was (might have been yourself) but someone told me about both of those labels but I never could find much off them so I never looked into them further. Might try and see what's on SS when I get a chance, they look like they are full of big tunes. I've been into a few old school "rebooted" labels recently like 7th Storey Projects and Keeping Vinyl Alive, if you can stuff from either they are great. And as always, I'm constantly on the look out for anything from Green Bay Wax and their artists.

I'm very much into that dark UKG stuff: https://rbt.asia/boards/mu/img/0695/41/1481225392927.png. Let me know what you want from there and I can upload it (be aware, quality might be shit). I've got a few of the Ghost releases, I think I have most of the El-B releases, and I've uploaded all of Texture Records which is Darqwan/Oris Jay's UKG label. I've got a few mixes and comps which is mainly that kind of Garage as well, in particular check out J Da Flex's mix for Deuce Magazine. And regarding Heartless Crew, I think they are okay but in terms of the UKG MC supergroups that were massively popular, I would rate them: Pay As U Go > So Solid Crew > Heartless Crew. Pay As U Go in particular were awesome, DJ Slimzee and DJ Geeneus on decks, Wiley, God's Gift, Major Ace, Plague and Maxwell D on the vocals. Their sets were always pretty good, as their one official double CD release was pretty good as well.

Track sounds nice, haven't heard of the label either but it looks like it's more of a House label than a proper Breakbeat Hardcore label. Might have to check the artist out though. I'm on night shifts right now and since it's proper quiet all I've been doing is listening to UK Garage sets with MCs over them from 99-02 all night. Feels good man.

I'd recommend almost everything tbh but here are my favourites: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6-UTChtijQ, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nogCbX3Hq4, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0s5sTF12z3o, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ii3zPAtf44, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fz7KH59HyZI. Although his new stuff is shit, as expected. At least there's enough classics so you can ignore the new stuff.

Special Request - Modern Warfare Remixes just came out and it is massive. Luna-C released and album this year but it was as Luna-C & Reeve so it's got quite a lot of unecessary guitar in it. Other than that nothing in particular. Kid Lib released a Jungle album this year which was great.

I don't really listen to that much UK Hip-Hop so I'm not sure I can recommend more like. Can get you some properly decent Grime though. I have a feeling I've probably linked you to Macabre Unit before: https://www.mixcloud.com/DemonMUD/macabre-unit-on-radio-1-plastician-show-21st-october-2006/. I think I'm going to move Macabre Unit to second in my all time Grime crews ranking, above Roadside Gs and below Ruff Sqwad.
