I would disagree on Mountains being terrible although would say it lacks the growl and kick it should. Agree with Cloud of Stink - superb track. I do like Shock Shock also. I think a lot of it will sound great live - it's a shame the production is missing a little bit of bang but there are some quality tracks on it. I'm not sure if it's harder to write a ridiculously complex song or a catchy, pop song. I think some people think banging out tunes like Biffy are trying at the moment is easy - it may well be, but I don't think it is.

Hey, I’m a student at UCL and for my dissertation I’m doing some research into audience experience at live indie gigs. I’m looking for people who have been to at least one indie gig in the past year to answer some questions about the gig they have attended. The questions can be found at: http://www.kwiksurveys.com/online-survey.php?surveyID=LKOMM_21485bf1 Thank-you very much for your help, it is very much appreciated :) Louise

Yeah Lincoln seems to have done all right recently! Brakes, Brontide, This City with And So I Watch.../Maybshewill, Sucioperro and This Town Needs Guns soon - and Sheffield is less than an hour away so all's well. Probably the best small gigs lincoln's had for a while - and I'm missing Tubelord at end of month

I saw your topic in the flaming lips group page about vinyl reissues... did you ever get any others? where did you buy them from? how much were they? I'd probably lose it if I ever saw those somewhere around here...

What? Our compatibility is low...anyhow I don't know if you ever liked Distophia or already have it but their only album was never released because of record label problems - I found a download of it today. I'm happy. Here it is - I reckon you will like http://www.orbitfiles.com/download/id1855611335.html

I will go with Earth Is Not A Cold Dead place - its a fiver at play.com so might as well start there. I've gone on a cd buying binge of late (this should be the last one) inc. new British Sea Power, Mogwai, Kraftwerk 'Electric Cafe' and Blood Brothers 'Crimes' and 'Burn Piano Island'. On average the cost has been about £4-5 a cd. Not bad at all!
