Please see Flying Lotus live if you get the chance. He is absolutely mind-blowing. That probably sounds like a massive over-statement but it was the gig of 2010 for me.

I swear that none of Band of Horses songs will ever be as good as The Funeral. New album isn't bad though. Flying Lotus album is rather good however.

Lemme guess, you really love the song and you don't know why? Its alright. Not what I'd normally listen to but I'll listen to anything once. You clearly have more money than sense if you're buying a bike because its the most "ironic bike on the market"

I can't even vocalise why I can't picture you riding a fixie. Why don't you just get a flip-flop hub and convert your current bike? Cheaper... What has made you want a fixie?

I concur, I listened to the album without Funeral on it much at work over Christmas but as a track on its own quite lovely. And are you really buying a fixie? I can't picture that.

Love Band of Horses - Funeral! But only because I can visualise Danny Macaskill riding around in my head whenever I hear it.

Oh my goodness! You simply must listen to Kaki King's new album "Junior" I haven't stopped listening to it all day. Its awesome. Check out her earlier stuff if you don't know it, not sure if you'd like it - tis very different to this new album.

Oh I wasn't planning to go, meant to be at Soul Tree for Backspin and can't spend too much money these days. Just thought you might be interested.

Ugh. Losing respect. Sex on Fire? They cut off their beards, got hot and lost all ability to turn anyone on with their music who actually gives a toss. Sad times.

Old news. Maybe when they tour the UK next you'll actually manage to buy a ticket to see them.

Check out Eli Paperboy Reed and The True Loves. Really good, not as raw as Black Joe Lewis but still pretty awesome. Also James Hunter. He's pretty marvellous, British and from Colchester. And it goes without saying they're both truly brilliant live.

I can't afford it... But it would make my 21st the best ever. Period. Nothing could compete. You thinking of coming to Black Joe Lewis?

Oh! Have you been listening to Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears at all? They're debut album was produced by Jim Eno of Spoon (know you're a fan). He's done a good job, fucking brilliant band and album.

Cheers. Annoyingly Scrobbling from spotify gets blocked by my work firewall so there's not as much in it as there should be.
