Hey, thanks for those tracks you posted on my page... almost 2 years ago.. OOPS! My bad for not getting back sooner, sorry! Good stuff though, i liked them. Not sure what you're listening to these days (i'll pretend i didn't see busted + little mix as the last things you listened to) but here's some stuff i came across recently you might like! Rozi Plain, Cosmo Sheldrake, Lake - We Built A Roof, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djTskDQ_n8k https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjxYLFWxR6E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naNV3SivX0U&list=PL79QfOCrGdTiA9ePI9xzLZyFaqZ-gdRQE

One of those songs i promised.. You've prolly heard it before at some point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnWDVPINu60 i recognised it from this at first https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8y_VFGrGnCE but i recognise the vocals/chorus too so i must have heard it somewhere before. still, nice to know it for what it is i guess

I too didn't know much at all for ages but finally got round to following it up. I've been delving slowly but steadily deeper for a year or so now so i have quite a few artists/albums but i'll tell you some of my favourites. Black Sands by Bonobo has become one of my favourite albums, it's special.. Bonobo in general is just amazing. Emancipator, DJ Krush, Nujabes, Blockhead, RJD2, Thievery Corporation - All worth the time taken to listen Talking of Folk though, i am currently reading Bob Dylan's Autobiography (which is awesome btw, i recommend reading even if you're not a huge lover, it's generally just a really good piece of writing), anyway, He keeps mentioning all these Folk singers i heard about when i first got into Dylan but never got around to looking up. But this time, i'm making a list, and i'm gonna start working on the list very soon, so if i come across any good tunes i'll send them your way

so how long have you been a My Morning Jacket fan? If it's longer ago than like... a year, i'll be angry you never told me about them... not that i've actually sat down to listen to them much myself but my friends started playing them about a year ago and i've enjoyed everything i've heard thus far. Saying this i've not listened to them in a while... been feeling the trip-hop recently.. how's about you?

Sweet, glad u enjoyed! It was awesome, definately going next year. I guess it's enivitable, especially with festivals based around a particular genre, that everyone is going to get on the same vibe/level but it is an awesome experience to be part of that atmosphere, there's not much else that gives you a feeling like that.. just so irie to freely express yourself in a room/place full of people you know and can see are feeling the same thing as you. but aye, hope you enjoy curtis' tracks as much as i do (Y)

Here's a couple of videos from when i was there, the vibe was incredible at the time like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yJANcOWX1c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2EVBgqOII8 and here's the link to the fb page if youre interested. I'm definately goin next year like. https://www.facebook.com/pages/United-Nations-Of-Dub-Weekender/339432076147174?fref=ts Unfortunately it's over £200 including travel and stuff so i probably wont be going to many other gigs but it's totally worth it for me. Did you get those emails btw? I'm alright, just working away, living on the weekends as ever. You?

It's away down in Wales somewhere, i can link you to the fb page if u want? We got the train there last time, only had 1 change although on the day there was loads of snow and the track got closed so we had to get a bus the last 30 miles or something but it took forever and shit, but anyway the weekend was awesome. there's some videos on the tube i think. it was hosted in like this kids holiday resort place was kinda weird but really good as there were wee shallet/flats on campus for accomodation, no camping in the mud/freezing snow and all the 3 rooms/stages were in the smae buliding so it was quick and easy to check each of them out. the vibe was incredible too

aye, i've only been to that dub festival this year which was also expensive but so. totally. worth it. it's on again next year (as this was the first one ever it was previously unsure) and they've confirmed it'll be in the same place which was pretty awesome too so i'm DEFINATELY going again next year. apart from this J5 gig which popped out of nowhere i don't have any other plans lined up. Got other expenses and stuff now anyway but yeah. 90 % of international music artists/ artists in general skip scotland all together on their world tours, the other 9% only do Glasgow and there literally is like 1%, if that, who actually do Edinburgh. Bit gay really as it makes any gig expensive before you even start but what can you do?

Busted. Really? great way to start broadening your knoledge of metal :P na but seriously though that's cool, enjoy download (Y) A couple of my friends went a year or 2 ago and said it was awesome. One of them is in a band actually and they're starting to do well, They play gigs like every week now and supported Sister Sin (who are aparantly fairly big), released an EP and have an album in the pipeline! remind me to send you their EP, it's really good. More sort of hard rock than metal but good. Personally i have an average knowledge of rock but less so the closer you move to metal. It's not that i really dislike metal (although some of that really heavy screaming in the mic/intense guitar grunge shit i really, can not stand.) it's more that i just enjoy it the least out of nearly all other genre's i have so far discovered... except pop and shit, obv. but yeh, gigs are getting really expensive now too, like a gig in glasgow for me is like top of the budget because of travel ect. sucks.

haha, i don't car emuch over the compatability, i know enough to know you have good taste :P. Glad you liked it although don't feel obliged! i haven't really been sticking to any one thing recently, drifting to and fro.. hovered around hip hop again for a while and i'm always going back to dylan sooner or later. How about you? OH! btw, Jurassic 5 (who if i havn't mentioned before are a faily old school hip-hop group who split up in the early 2000's) are getting back together for a one off show in Glasgow and i got a ticket! I'm pretty excited as they were like the first hip-hop i ever got into and used to be gutted when i was youger that i couldn't get to see them (and even more so by the fact that my brother DID go to see them before they split up) so yeah, that should be good. Going on my tod though as no one wanted to go cos it's like £30 but fuck it, i don't care!

you should make an account, it's handy for making playlists i find. when your browsing and come across a good track you can add it in a dropdown box under the video box. anyway, here, this should open up one of my playlists hopefully. there's loads of songs in there but i think you can put it on shuffle so you can just keep skipping through them. hope u like some of them, if you do you could add them to a playlist of your own if u make an account :P

btw, not sure you'll enjoy this as much as i do (cos i fucking love it) but you should totally download this album. It's amazing from start to finish. http://depositfiles.com/files/yxj7lb1ls when it asks you to become a memeber/put in a phone number, (don't) there's a cross that appears in the top right corner you have to click to continue with the download. He's what you're downloading: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVaoXn5wwAY let me know what you think!

I think i had to install something called greasemonkey to install the scrobbler or vice versa or something... i also think i changed the settings on the scrobbler once it was installed to "show the scrobbler button" which is basically just a button that appears at the top of any youtube page to turn scrobbling on or off... i also thiink i changed it to auto scrobble that way you don't have to do anything... hope that helps

YES. Rumours and their 1975 self titled album are historic. Careful when downloading the self titled one cos they have 2, although the first one is more commonly known as "peter green's fleetwood mac" as he was the frontman at the time (before stevie nicks and lindsey buckingham joined) it is also very good but they were more of a blues band then
