Today is your 14th LASTFM ANNIVERSARY :-) ... Congrats, Adrian ! ... What are your opinions about lastfm now ( and if you still remember, what did you hope for when you joined it)? ... P.S. I'll devote this track (e.g. on youtube) to this birthday of yours: ... genre: experimental/minimal -> ... 'douze' (this track has 143 beats per minute): ... https://www.last.fm/music/Erkan+Y%C4%B1lmaz/_/douze -> this is from album ("violin edition (album #1)")

Hello again from Hamburg, Adrian! I saw you still use lastfm after more than 12 years :-) That's quite a long time... Looking back now, how did your musical exploration mature over these years? ... Also... all the best for your pending 84k scrobbles milestone... How I found you? ... I've just finished glancing over our musical chit-chat from 2012 May in my profile's shoutbox... Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday

You rule for finding that link. I had already found it after a few hours of searching through dead links, but still. I appreciate the link!

Nice, that sounds like a good idea. Maybe if I wasn't so much of an audiophile I'd do the same (mediafire links are mixed bags as far as compression rates go). I usually find FLAC copies of albums and convert them to 320kbps mp3s (since I use iTunes, which doesn't support FLAC), and fix the tags if I have to—which have been done on my copies. I'll blow the dust off my mediafire account and I'll probably upload the parts sometime tomorrow or if not as soon as I can.

You know, there was a list I found a while back that had a few hundred screamo bands that's circulating around the net somewhere—I used it a ton when I first discovered LastFM, too. Oh yeah, and as far as suggestions go (most of them were already on your charts), I think you'd really like Unwound—especially their albums 'Fake Train' and 'New Plastic Ideas'. I have 320kbps copies if you want 'em.

Actually I used to be into screamo/emo/scramz quite a lot—I used to listen to bands like CoC, Pg. 99 (I still have my CD of 'Doc 8'), Ausitot Mort, Ampere, Dodeward, Anemone, Loma Prietta, Neil Perry, Orchid, Saetia, Funeral Diner, CTTS, You and I, Angel Hair, and [The] Kodan Armada; more emo-y bands like Still Life, Indian Summer . . . bands on Level Plane and other labels that escape me at the moment. . . . Then my musical interest changed and now I'm into more Indie music.

I'm not really sure now that I think about it; I guess it's because they're part of a scene I don't know too much about.

I have very few friends that RAP in NH and TONS AND TONS of friends that do not like to listen to it or play it anywhere. They like rock music in NH. Rock101 its the most listened to station up there. Rock is cool no doubt but its really over played up in New Hampshire... Most kids up there like rap but really just the new stuff and newer things that clubs do NOT play due to lack of clubs and the clubs that do exist up there are as we would say in New Hampshire , WICKED wack.... think about it how do you think rap is in South Dakota or even like Iowa or Nebraska or Alaska probably similar to New Hampshire's lack of the scene. i live in florida now so i am straight.

Dave is at Brock most of the time but he's in Meadowvale here and there. Matt C is indeed Cuthbert....and not sure, we'll definitely be playing lots. We have a couple of shows set up in March but I'm not sure what's happening before then.
