better than anything bar about four tracks on TCH (and I really really like TCH, so yeah). struggling to contain my hype just in case it disappoints, but I'm kind of very excited.

As a matter of fact, I just watched Blue Velvet a few days ago and I LOVED it. I am now very convinced that Lynch is a brilliant director and I can't wait to explore his other films! Yes, I have heard the new Antlers EP, Undersea. I think it's quite wonderful and not emotionally draining like some of their releases. I found it to be quite relaxing and peaceful. Have you heard it yet?

Hadestown is awesome because it has a wide range of instruments and vocalists and the story itself is intriguing. That looks like the ideal Pavement setlist! Wow, I'm so jealous haha. And as a matter of fact, I have been meaning to watch Blue Velvet for a while now. I haven't seen anything by Lynch except Twin Peaks, but now I'm convinced that he is a spectacular director.

Yeah, her new album "Young Man in America" is phenomenal. I love her voice and her songwriting. You also should definitely check out her album "Hadestown." It's the one before her new release and Justin Vernon from Bon Iver is featured in the album. It's a concept album about a greek story and Justin Vernon sings as one of the characters on it. In my opinion, it's a masterpiece. Yes, I love Pavement! And no, I haven't seen them live unfortunately. How were they? By the way, I just finished the Twin Peaks series recently and I'm pretty sure I haven't found a show that tops it. Cooper and Audrey are my favorite characters by far.

Haha thanks. I didn't actually have music playing because I didn't want to hurt his ears. I just put them on him for two minutes or so to take the picture and they were on very loosely. That's awesome! Are you a big Bon Iver fan? I'm seeing Anais Mitchell open for him and I'm really excited. I've seen her live before and she is amazing, but I'm especially looking forward to seeing him since I haven't before. He does a cover of her song "Coming Down" that is really beautiful.

it sounded pretty brilliant on first listen, though I need to listen again to give a definitive verdict or something. (I've just been listening to bobby womack on youtube for the last hour or so, so now this gives me something else to listen to.)

I love the new Beirut album, I think it's potentially their best but what do I know. The Rip Tide is a fantastic track, as is Goshen, Santa Fe, Port of Call, Payne's Bay... Probably their most coherent album too #pretentiouswanker. That was my first exposure to Spiritualized, actually. Should I bite the bullet and get the discog?
