Lol, it makes sense! I HATE public transportation so much. I hate waiting for the bus or for a taxi. Like, when I want to go home it's because I'm really tired, so ofc I won't be in the mood for waiting for something to pass and then be there with thousands of other people, lol. Oh, me too! Here we don't use the train that much anymore but I did once and it was amazing. I wish I could travel more by train! Oh, that's amazing! It's been ages since I don't travel. Yess, me too, here if you want to make movies you have to join a stupid TV channel we have here or something like that, and if you want to make movies with special effects here it's basically impossible. I hate Jennifer Lawrence, at first I just disliked her attitude but now she's been making fun of problematic things and ugh. I can't stand her! Your favorites are great! I love Emma Watson (she's an awful actress tbh I mean she's really mediocre since she always plays the same character but I really love her as a person and +

I kind of got attached to her since she plays Hermione and Sam. She also was in a Sofia Coppola movie which is really cool! I love The Bling Ring) , Winona Ryder, Emma Stone and Natalie too. Who are your favorite actors? I don't like war movies either, I just watched it because my dad wanted to in his birthday but I loved it!! The Social Network is really cool, I love it because Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross made the soundtrack and won an Oscar. Trent Reznor is one of my favorite musicians of all time! I agree, I mean it's fun and everything and the cinematography is beautiful but it's not as good as everyone says. Yes, Whiplash was so much better! Aahh, I know. I hate it!

Public transportation is awful, especially during rush hour. I like it though when the trains are not that busy. That's awful, for young film makers it's very difficult to make movies. Politicians in the Netherlands don't support film makers either. They should, because art and culture, including film is very important in a society. I don't think Emma Watson is an awfull actress, she didn't do anything special, yet. I hope she will get roles that fit her. I didn't see The Bling Ring, it didn't get good reviews, so I didn't watched it (I know it's not a good reason). I love Coppola though. I loved Lost in Translation, Somewhere and The Virgin Suicides. I have many favorite actors, for example Ethan Hawke, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Kevin Spacey. What about you? That soundtrack of the Social Network is awesome! It is very soothing and quiet. I remembered it was very special that they won the Oscar. That soundtrack is not easy to listen to for some people.

Thank you!! My profile is honestly awful lol I haven't seen as many movies as most users. I wanted to watch more this and last year but anxiety sucks out my life. I wish I could watch as many movies as you do!! You're goals tbh haha. Oh yes, I started watching it but never finished it! I will soon :D By the way, have you seen the movie Y Tu Mamá También? If you haven't, I really recommend it. I love it so much, imo it's the best movie of all time lol, I really relate to it because I'm Mexican and that's literally how I talk every day and things like that, the plot is amazing and the cast !!!!!!! I love Gael and Diego so much. It makes me cry everytime I watch it haha, I really relate to it. I wanted to recommend it to you because it's about a roadtrip! Ahh, I love him so much, he's the love of my life haha. I have the biggest crush on him. Yes, I did, I loved it! I saw that she's collaborating with Miles Kane, this will be my favorite album of hers now probably haha. Same! I don't

understand how some people seem to be shocked because I listen to music all the time. Today I was cleaning my room without music because my brother was using the computer and I couldn't handle it lol I had to put a CD. Ahh, thank you so much for watching my recommendations, it means a lot to me! Yes, I did, I love it! I think it's my favorite David Lynch film after Blue Velvet. Both are beautiful but Blue Velvet even make me cry. Thanks for following me!! I followed you too! :D By the way, what do you think about the Oscars?

It's not awful, it's true that you haven't seen many movies, but the movies you saw are very good! I haven't seen Y Tu Mamá También yet, but it is on my watch list for quite some time. I will watch it very soon. I love the director. I adore his Harry Potter movie (maybe the best one), Gravity was good and Children of Men was fantastic. Is Lana collaborating with Miles Kane? Now I'm even more excited for her album! Yes, moments without music a boring. When I study for school, go to school I have to listen to music. It is some sort of escapism, I don't want to think about what happens in the world at those moments. I think I need to rewatch both Mulholland and Blue Velvet, I didn't understand all of it the first time. I love movies like that. I didn't see the Oscars live, because I live in a different timezone the Oscars start when I go to sleep. I saw the highlights the morning after. I agreed with the choices they made. The mistake with the prize for the best film was pretty

Thank you!! You should watch it, if you like roadtrips you're going to love it. I love him too! I love Harry Potter and PoA is my favorite movie of all of them. Besides he's Mexican like me haha. Yes, she is!!! I'm so excited! I hope she does a collab with Alex Turner, if she did I would die in peace. You're right, I can't listen to music at school but it's always playing in my head, lmao. Me too. I feel you! I love movies that make you think. I didn't see them live, I honestly wasn't in the mood but I feel like some of the winners were unfair? Like, I don't really think that Emma's performance in La La Land was Oscar-worthy compared to the other actresses. Also why did Casey Affleck even win? Lol. I agree! But Moonlight deserved it way more :D I loved La La Land but I feel like it's overrated.

Roadmovies are awesome. They are fun and they made me think about summer. You can be proud of him as a Mexican. I love the other Mexican directors Alejandro González Iñárritu and Guillermo del Toro too, their movies are very special. Emma Stone was magnificent in La La Land. She is always very fun to watch. I agree with you, I saw Isabelle Huppert in Elle and she was even better. She should have won. On the other side, Emma deserved it too. Oh, I loved Casey Affleck's performance. He was very good and subtle. The movie was very sad but I adored it. Moonlight is very good indeed. La La Land is very good too, but it's not a perfect movie, it's not a masterpiece.

I agree! I wish I could do a roadtrip one day, but I don't have a car and I'm too afraid to learn how to drive, lol. I want to though, the other day I went downtown in the subway and it was hell. Ah, me too! It kind of makes me sad how they had to go to another country to make more movies because they couldn't here, you know what I mean? I agree! I kind of hated when Jennifer Lawrence won too, that role was good but she's so annoying and problematic... I loved Hacksaw Ridge, I wish Andrew would have won! Yes, I know, I bet everyone will forget about it in a few months though.

I can't drive either. I don't like driving myself, but I like road trips. That doesn't make sense, but it's true. I like public transport, but I don't like the subway neither. I love to travel with train though. You can look outside and you can listen to music or watch movies along the way. Last summer I went to Germany with the train and it was pretty fun. Yes, I know what you mean. The Netherlands is for example a small country and when we have a good director or actor they always go to Hollywood. I understand them though, it's very difficult to make movies in the Netherlands. Jennifer Lawrence deserved that Oscar, but she is not very likeable. It's not a favorite actress of mine. I like for example Natalie Portman, Emma Stone, Cate Blanchett or Tilda Swinton way more. What about you? I didn't see Hacksaw Ridge (I don't like war movies that much), but Andrew Garfield is a very good actor. I loved him in The Social Network. He deserved a Oscar there too. Yes, you are right.

La La Land is good, but nothing special. I love the previous film of Damien Chazelle, Whiplash, even more. The 14 noms were a little bit much. I don't like the fact that the Academy igoners some genres of movies at the Oscars. Why didn't The Perks of Being a Wallflower being nominated? Because it's about teens? It's a wonderful movie and it deserves way more love.

Thanks for understanding me!!! I appreciate that you reply too even when it takes me ages to reply, lol. SAME! I loved Sing Street, it was one of my favorite movies of 2016!! I finally watched La La Land and I loved it too. I love musicals!! True! Aaahh I still have to watch Boyhood, I haven't seen any movies besides when I go to the teather and I'm kind of mad at myself because of that. That's amazing!! I know, it made me really sad :( Wow, that's really cool! I've always wanted to be a singer or an actress, also a movie director but it's kind of impossible haha. So I want to teach English (the language, not the subject) here in Mexico or become a translator because I really like languages! And then I'll try to make my dreams come true :D

tell me when we had promised that we would go to every concert together after going to Lana's concert. :( Ahh this is so stupid, but it still breaks my heart. I just can't wait to meet someone that makes me forget about her, lol. Besides in 2015 I was in an awful school where I was bullied and things like that, so it kind of changed my life forever. I hate it, but I know that it will go away soon. Like right now I don't feel that bad!

LGBT love stories are wonderful. I don't say that they are always better, but they are very creative in story telling. Last week I saw a list of LGBT movies with happy endings on Letterboxd. You can see it here: https://letterboxd.com/mittland/list/lgbt-films-with-happy-endings/ Letterboxd is great btw, you can organize the movies you have watched, I like it very much. I know, it is a part beautiful part of movie, the choice between love or ambition. In my free time I like to play soccer just for fun. Because of the agressive 'fans' I don't go to stadions or something like that. I like to play darts too, it is a very big sport/game in the Netherlands. I suck at it, but it is fun to do it with people. I can see that I love reading books about traveling and road trips. I love the German Tschick by Wolfgang Herrndorf. Alex Turner is great! I love the soundtrack of Submarine and his work with Arctic Monkeys and The Last Shadow Puppets is amazing too. I was first not a big fan of +

Lana Del Rey, but when I heard the song Born to Die at the end of Mommy i was amazed. That song is amazing! I get you, music can change your life. The Smiths and Twenty One Pilots are great! Their songs are very emotional, I like it. That's a awful story, you must feel very sad at that time. I understand that you can't trust that person anymore, that sucks. Glad you feel a little bit better now.

I agree! Oh, I've seen that list too!! Thank you!! Yes, I have a Letterboxd account, my username is ponyboycurtis, what's yours? :D so I can follow you there too. You're right, though I kind of wish it had a happy ending deep in my heart hahaha. That's amazing! Ahhh I feel you, sometimes I'm scared to go to concerts because of how wild people can get. When I go to a concert of someone who is not one of my favorites I try to avoid the general section and buy tickets in a seat instead. That is so cool!!! Do you like Jack Kerouac? Most of his books are about traveling, especially his most famous novel, On The Road. I love the Beat Generation a lot. I haven't read that, it's on my to-read now! I agree, he's amazing; he's also really handsome haha :D Ahhh I feel you, I have always loved Lana but when I heard her on Mommy I loved it even more. Born To Die was the most perfect song for the ending of Mommy. True, to be honest I don't even remember what I did before I loved music so much, lol.

I haven't read any books by Jack Kerouac, but I saw the film adaptation of On the Road. I liked that movie a lot. Did you see it? I love the style of Alex Turner. It is very classy and British. I love Lana's next song, Love, also quite a bit. Did you listen to it? Me too, I listen to music all my life, I can't live without it. A time ago you recommended Blue Velvet, and last week I saw it. It was amazing! I don't know what the film means, but it was wonderful. Yesterday I saw Mulholland Drive, another film by David Lynch. I like it even more. Did you see it? I'm SOOO sorry for the late reply, I hope you don't start to dislike me because I always reply ages later lol. I agree!! I think it's my favorite soundtrack :0 What's yours? True! Wow, I've never heard of it, I'll have to watch it too! Same, but there are some coming of age movies that I didn't like because the character really didn't grow up or anything, he just started doing drugs or having sex. But I love them because they make me feel motivated too XD Yes!! Aahh, Reservoir Dogs is amazing, just a few days ago I was watching the 'ear' scene. Tarantino is amazing, I admire him a lot, his movies are always cool. I hope you like them!! I know, it happened a few weeks ago in my city :( I think I told you. It made me so sad. You don't have to apologise. It's nice that you reply every time, I appreciate that. I think my favorite soundtrack is last years Sing Street. It is very eighties oriented and the song only written for the movie are very good too. You are right, character development is important especially in coming of age movies. The protagonist in Boyhood for example has some troubles during the film and is changing a lot. Yes, Reservoir Dogs is amazing. As someone from the Nederlands I am proud of it too. In the beginning you can hear the song Little Green Bag by the George Baxer Selection. It is a Dutch musician and the song is very good. Of course I like Quentin Tarantino he is one of my favorite directors. His movies are always special you never know what you get. Yes you told me about that shooting it is very awful. I'm doing a study right now and it's about informationmanagement. I learn to manage different sort of information in enterprises.

My favorite ones are I Killed My Mother because I really relate to his character and Mommy. I know, that's what I admire the most about him! Most directors have a bad film in their career and he hasn't. True!! My favorite is Kill Bill, I also love Inglourious, I think it's my second favorite :D I really can't choose my favorite Quentin Tarantino movie, he's amazing. His characters are the best! Yes, the Soundtrack of the Perks of Being a Wallflower is fantastic! I Killed My Mother is very good too indeed. Dolan has a very distinctive style and I like it! I saw a few days ago Closet Monster and it almost looked like a Dolan movie. I just love this kind of coming-of-age movies. They feel so real. Kill Bill is fantastic! Like Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. I even liked The Hateful Eight. I will see Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive very soon then, I'm really curious. The Perks can always make me happy, when I'm sad or depressed I will watch that movie. Boyhood is a very special film for me. Maybe it is my favourite film of all time. I can really relate to the main character. I don't cry a lot, but I cry every time I see Boyhood. Xavier Dolan is also one of my favourite directors! I saw his movie Heartbeats (Les Amours Imaginaires) at a film festival and I was blown away. He didn't made a bad movie yet. He is a very important filmmaker to me. Of course is Quentin Tarantino a good director. He made so many good movies. Inglourious is my fave of him. I also love Sofia Coppola, David Fincher, Alfonso Cuarón. I didn't see much of David Lynch. I saw Dune and Twin Peaks and it was really weird. It was not bad, It was just hard to follow and understand. Can you recommend a movie of him? Elephant is indeed by Gus van Sant.
