Yeah. It sucks. I’m just on r/last.fm on reddit for now. But it’s not the same.

I like the shows you like. Joss Whedon in particular. Good comedy also. The music's cool too. I just haven't listened to so much rock lately

"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed- interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching luggage. Choose a three piece suite on hire purchased in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing spirit- crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pushing you last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that?"

The new version of The Ghost of Tom Joad on High Hopes actually has Tom Morrello on guitar which is pretty awesome :) and yeah, it's a good tune from that, and Joss Whedon is just a boss in general!!!

While the Byrds, the Hollies, and Tom Petty aren't technically 'power pop', I suppose, they touch on 'pop rock' to a point where the line between them and powerpop is a disintction without a difference. I'd also add the Romantics and Material Issue, especially the latter's songs "Diane" and "Valarie Loves Me".

Oh, goodness, there's so much great work on there... I'd include at least two songs from Cheap Trick's 'At Budokan' album and at least two from Van Duren's 'Are You Serious?' Also the singles "She's so High" by Tal Bachmann and "Next Stop" by Bleached.

that's a good philosophy, and I'm mostly the same way. That's probably why I haven't seen that many artists

I guess I'll check out Puscifer then, thanks! :) Also will check out Robert Anton Wilson. I like all the other writers you've mentioned in your bio, so I figured I'll probably like him too. Wiki tells me that he was "an American author and polymath who became at various times a novelist, philosopher, psychologist, essayist, editor, playwright, poet, futurist, civil libertarian and self-described agnostic mystic. " How could I resist? :D

I would like to see them live someday.Until now the loudest band i've ever heard live were The Gun Club at 1988.Looking the place,Jucifer, founded (Athens,Georgia),i'm thinking that our "little sister" city made us proud here in metropolis(Athens,Greece). Many great bands started there.

Here's a funny thing.Few months ago looking to your library i saw Jucifer.Curiosity(and something in their name) made me search for them.I heard some songs on YouTube.I didn't like'em,something strange for me cause their music sounds to my ears very similar with one of my fav bands,Sonic Youth. A couple days ago i was in a harsh mood,i remembered them and i thought to give'em a second shot. That's it.The raw power, the energy, the wall of noise hit me like punch in my face(many punches actually). It was very exciting. All their albums and EPs are awesome but i think "L'Autrichienne" is one of the best of '00s for this genre.
