Hey! I saw you just post on the Spoonfull page about his older stuff. I had been looking for months as well before a nice person finally showed me where to find it! It's all up for free download on this site. Enjoy! http://www.purevolume.com/Spoonfull

Aaack, I suck for not coming on here more often! If you have fb, you should add me! https://www.facebook.com/fritterandwaste And you're right, Canada *is* Canada! When the time comes to move back, we'll probably settle back in Ontario. I dream of driving across the country some day, though. Wouldn't that be amazing?

Hehe! I'm from Ontario (from a small town outside of the Toronto area) -- I moved to California in 2007 to be with my husband, and never left! But I assure you, I will never let go of my Canadian citizenship. Never! We're planning on moving back, when the timing is right. Whereabouts are you from? Canadians who love Elliott Smith - that should be a new group! :)

thanks for adding me - love your charts man. what's your favourite elliott album? I don't have Roman Candle or the S/T and I've been listening to him for 6 or 7 years. I dunno how that's possible

saw the icon and figured i had to give you a shout. the other quote i almost put in own "about me" from mr. v: "The only proof he needed for the existence of God was music" which is funny for any number of reasons. i figured that and the reference of the avatar would've been a smidgen of overkill...

Well I have tried foobar before, but had deleted it because it would not scrobble...and this time it's the same; the additional plugin link you gave me, it contains the exact same dll file that already came with the installation of foobar. However, it still does not scrobble :/ what do? oh and I tried downloading the additional plugin, drag and dropped it into the components folder, didn't change anything though..

Just dropping in to say Hi and to tell you that I'm lucky enough to see Bad Religion in two days :) Oh, and you might be disappointed, but I abandoned songbird at last... It just didn't suit me, I can see how you like it for all it offers but I'd rather have some plain and simple device to play music. And I'm still wondering as to how much time you got on your hands to listen to THAT much music within only a week. I have around 400-500 tops if I i have completely nothing to do. Any good media player aside from foobar2k and songbird?

you're into a great discovery my friend. This guy is one of the most amazing musicians I've ever heard. His guitar skills are beyond imagination and he writes beautiful songs, and has an amazing vocal presence. he's practically god.

I concur that auto-tune is very annoying and that it makes music seem bland. However, music mostly moves in the same rebellious ways as art does: In counter-movements and counter reactions. There is already a counter-movement to auto-tune by people who resent such technology in their music, and i think you will see that after a while (2/3 years tops) most people agree that auto-tune was of the past and either not trendy anymore or just simply lame. Till then, i suggest we listen to the underground/independent music like Bon Iver and Nick Drake (who do/does acknowledge the benefits of auto-tune) and ignore the top chart ''garbage'' Lady gaga alike(s). I recommend you Samamidon if you havent heard of him yet.

i know sometimes i feel stupid because of that. I like to listen different music but since i discover elliott every time when listen something else i just think about elliott. I think there is something in his chord changes becouse they are unusual but stil catchy. His lyrics are art on his own too. I write songs too i never had idol and at age 21 i got my first lol.

ha guess what, I've got yet another question... It's not particularly about songbird, but about media players in general. If i have for example two albums which are tagged completely the same. Is there a way to play only one version? It's about Roman candle. I've got both the old and the reissued version and if I want to listen to it, I have sit through each song twice, it's not really that nice. So if you know a method except for tagging them differently, please do tell :)
